Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
I can't wait until people STOP bitching about KITT being a Mustang. There is NO more Trans Am, it's been dead since 2002 now get over it. That's life, I do like Trans Am's and Camaro's but the T/A is gone. This is still surreal though, years ago I wondered what KITT would be like as a Mustang.

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
I REALLY like Ki3t as the Mustang it has to be said.
Im a little confused as to why they were allowed to use it for the same reason people quote about not being able to use the Camaro. The Transformers Movie.
There is a Mustang police car/robot in that film too....
Its of no consequence to me, having just watched the film again and seen various photoshop images of Ki3t AS a Camaro, I'd say the Cam would make Kitt look evil and the Mustang is actually the better choice IMHO.
I hope KR gets more seasons and we get the NEXT gen Mustang, of which pictures have been posted on this board ages ago in 'concept form'. THAT car looks fabulous

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
The Camaro may work as KARR, but not as KITT.
If in the night I saw a KITT Mustang and a Camaro Black behind me when I'm driving, even if I know nothing about Knight Rider at all, I'll still think that the Mustang is the good guy and the Camaro is the bad guy. Aggressive, tough, maybe if they use the Camaro as KARR with the voice of Will Arnett, that will work...

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
OK being an avid car enthusiast as I am. Let me say that the Mustang version of KITT is great.
The new Camaro (Paulie) would have made a great KI3T.
But KI3T is a Mustang. Dont hate the Mustang, dont hate the Camaro..maybe in a future stroy line there will be an agency that is similar to FLAG except they run around causing problems or another division of Knight Industries, and their opertive can drive a super intelligent Black Camaro (KAOS..The KNIGHT ADAVANCED OPERATIVE SYMBIOT)..KI3T's equal in every way, Except he and his driver are joined in a simbiant relationship.
The is one factor which neither the Mustang or the Camaro offer or bring to the show which was as much a part of KI2T as his dash and turbo boost. Neither have T-TOPS.
How do you eject someone from the car without T-Tops????
That is my only complaint about KI3T these days.. And Paulie you did a great job on the Camaro KI3T. Its my new wallpaper.

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
It would be easily possible to implement ejection in the Mustang, all Mustangs have a glass roof option... in the series they could have the glass roof "roll" back and presto... a nice ejection hole.

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
Yeah. I don't see how the Camaro is a better KITT than the Mustang. OK, it looks but, but not better than the Mustang. It's nearly the same.
I wonder if people would want the Camaro if it hadn't the slot beneath the hood that screams "put a scanner in here".
Ok, the image is nice, but I think removing or blackening the frontlights doesn't give a real impression of the car.

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
In my opinion, the Mustang and the Camaro are both okay, but they're lacking that sleek, futuristic look, and I agree with Garthe Knight(the poster above me),that some people want the Camaro because you could fit a scanner in there.I don't even feel any difference from a Camaro or a Mustang.I'm not pointing this at anyone in particular, but I'm speaking of everyone in general.I just guess that everyone wants a GM car for KI3T.
Congratulations!By reading this signature,KITT's AWESOMENESS has increased by ONE POINT!

Probably not, it's either that or because it's a GM product.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
Remove the red lights from the image above, and it will become a standard Fast & Furious car, with a look that is maybe quite similar to the old third generation Mazda RX-7 (FD). Besides, I don't think an arrow shaped scanner will work fine, it's just too strange for me and I can't see a scanner in there.

Now, I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but let's be fair, Attack Mode is about as Fast & Furious as you can get.BlueChaos wrote:Remove the red lights from the image above, and it will become a standard Fast & Furious car
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
I actually wince a little when people complain that the last Trans-Am looks "dated" when the Mustang is a relic of 60's vehicle design...
Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
The answer to KITT being a camaro came to us at the SEMA show in the form of the "Camaro Black"

Re: K.I.T.T. Camaro
Sorry but that news is old, and as I said again and again, it is better suited for KARR.
Even the editors agree, see:
"Pretty much what KITT out of Knight Rider would look like if he turned evil, we reckon."

Let's hope the big screen version of KR gets it right.
