FALGAS KYT

I spotted this in Mikkeli, Finland a couple of months ago. I remember these things were a hit in Finnish amusementparks in the 80s. This one has a music chip sounding very similar to 8-bit Nintendo game console. It plays a part of the Knight Rider theme in idle mode. It also talks randomly with William Daniels' voice and keeps that sound of KITT's scanner. The spoken line is something like: "Hello Michael".

There are buttons in the dash saying: Turbo, (maybe Sirena?), Radar and Start. The nose has a script text that says "Pontiac" and the licence plate in the back says "KYT" instead of KITT (no picture unfortunately ). The sticker in the dash and a text in the back of the car indicates that the car was manufactured by Falgàs.

i do like the speedometer on the left side of the dash with light up red numericals.

i´ve been in one of these , here in Ciudad Real they were tons of it , but there are another coin model that were more accurate than it i dont remember what the trademark was :S

DarKSLaiN: That Falgas is a spanish company, am I right? Do you know what it means or does it mean anything...

I surely would love to see that other one too

I rode one of these. It was all black with the same interior, and with a working scanner light. I was some five or six years old and I met this Kitt at our family holiday in Siófok, at the river Balaton.

Here is a Pic with full Scanner light an other Lights, in a half Jear I become my own KITT car like this. I become the Body for a Go Kart and then I have my Fun

I've never rode in those things, I was already too old for them but I imagine it's been really fun to younger KR fans at the time.

I never saw one of those before that looked like that, the topic link in the first post I used to ride one of them in Jacksonville FL in the 80's when they were still black then 5 years ago a KMart where I live now I saw one that was painted all red and I think it was taken away 2 or 3 years ago, atleast by repainting the rides they kept them from being wasting away somewhere or destroyed.

Does anybody have the Soundeffekts from that Car would be cool to hear it

Wow. Cool. I never knew things like that even existed. I'm not surprised and I'm glad! How I miss the 80's even if I wasn't even born by the time KR was pulled off air.
