He did mention in his reality tv show ,that when he was going thru his first divorce ,that some of his favorite jackets ended up in the second bedroom and he came over when no one was home to retrieve them along will all his other stuff that was tossed out on the drive way!

This car is the No.2 tour car and it was street legal because it had turn lights,
now it is in a private collection in switzerland.

Now you do realize that David had quite a few cars made!....the guy had money!... ,but who knows how many of these were made?.....not to mention ,his ex-wife sold some of his cars as well as the two studio cars that he had ,while he was out of town on tour and thats been well documented, time and time again!

The wheels have writing on the tires and in the show, the wheels never had any so I don't think it's a screen used car.

The nose looks legit and looks to me like it was a screen-used car. It also would make perfect sense to change the wheels for touring not only because the '88 tour was two years after the series ended, but also because screen-used wheels would have no doubt been worn down and unsafe for the road. It would be especially true if it wasn't the main Hero Car and was used for burnouts, doughnuts and high-speed chases.

but none of "those cars" were ever used on the show!...they were just his personal tour cars from the Knight rocker tour and up!....so really none of those car ever saw screen time at universal ever!, and David might have just purchased the parts from universal to make them all K.I.T.T. replications,and at the time were all street legal
if you think about it David was the first to do the knight replicas long before it became mainstream!

If they weren't screen-used cars I'd imagine David would've had no choice but to get the parts from Universal. It was certainly a lot easier to get good condition donor cars back then than nowadays, too.

the cars that david used for his tours was not screen used!one of the cars was used when he visit greece for a greek commercial!take a look!tha dash is just awful!!

you mean a mercedes-benz commercial!....the voicebox on the greek commercial was never made an episode..not even the pilot!it was custom made for hasselhoff's tour around the world.
