So KITT was still more technologically advanced. KITT, going off of this real-world tech, had eight independent scanning modules that worked in synchronization with each other to fully scan the area around him. So the swoosh effect of KITT was acheived by each scanning "module" taking a reading at separate times, going back and forth, left and right, and getting an accurate reading as to the environment he's in at all times.
Watching KITT turbo boost since 1982.

There is a very interesting show on Discovery called "Future Car" see one episod of it and trust me, you will see they are trying to copu some features of KITT one way or another. I just want them to say "inspired by Knight Rider" :lol: Image :kitt:
