Hang on a moment . . .

If the "Knight Rider 2000" timeline is being ignored in this story (re: the mention earlier
about Devon's death 12 years ago) then IMHO the "Team Knight Rider" timeline should
also be ignored. Some may find KR2000 disagreeable to some extent and wished it
had never happened, it had many more canonical elements than TKR ever did.

TKR didn't have the real Michael Knight, and KITT was reduced to a desk ornament!

Let's not spoil a good story (so far) and keep non-canon stuff like TKR out of it.

I can cope with it. I don't want to bring back the whole tkr crew, but a guy in high position with connections to africa. Just as little as portraying Tebogo Kuna as a classic bad guy. He could have had option to infiltrate Garths org. and help flag.
Also keep in mind, this "own episodes" should have 4-5 acts. I think as good as it sounds in the beginning, it won't be a good episode, if there is to much dialog and explanation between the two kitt's and the two mike's, Graman, Sarah, Bonnie, April, RC3, Billy, Zoe, Revai, .... So please think about a few posts (not just one sentence ) subplot.

Hi Dr. Graiman and anyone else interested...
It's not that I hated TKR...actually, I watched every single episode that aired on UPN when it first showed.
That was a very very long time ago...and I don't want to screw up the characters with my lack of recent knowledge.

So how about this...

We agree to let it continue...and I'll let you guys handle the TKR part.
So far, I'm really enjoying this episode.

OOC: I'd like to play. I've even GM'ed some message RPGs way back when. So having a KR RPG type thing is cool. Also, in the RPGs, though, people have their own characters to write for, which made things a bit easier. I'd like to write for someone I've always liked. I think you can guess who... BTW, "OOC" means "Out Of Character".

My post:What would be neat if we had an RPG going here! If this works out it'd be neat. One of the mods could be the GM (Game Master - keeps people on track of a given mission/storyline), each person getting a character to write for (one they can choose, for example, I'd pick KARR as my character, where right now I and whoever else wants to would do KARR). RPG's are fun!

Also are we in agreement that K3T destroys KARR for GOOD this time so he doesn't return? Or will there be an active AI unit yet again ala "KITT vs. KARR"?

Mods might want to GM this so we don't have a lot of inconsistancies?

What i was thinking is that they went after the SSC first because I wouldn't think Randy Merit knew it existed. So they are trying to get something or someone to use as bait.

I was thinking about when Zoe was roller blading through the basement looking for the hologram equipment(can't remember the episode name sorry.) there was a noise behind her which spooked her. It was after the KARR episode so I thought that it could've been a hook that a part of KARR or something else was down there. It could be used. either that or they're just after the specs of KI3T and that's the easiest place to get them.

I'm loving this thread and want to thank everyone for their involvement.
I can really see the visuals.

warehouse. Michael, Mike just called, he's been contacted by Garthe.

Err, did you read any of my post above yours? Mike is already speaking to Michael about the
threatening phone call from Garthe, via a communications link up between KI3T and KI2T.

This is getting confusing due to inconsistancies:

1. I thought Garthe stood behind and Adrianne was driving the rig to get Randy.
2. I thought the african hadn't even arrived to see Garthe yet.
3. KARR was already activated when Adrianne left Garthe at the warehouse.

That's the thing when something is this free-form, and people often do just glance through or just post. Without some structure, somethings going to get all mixed up and confusing.

I thought the last time we saw garthe was with Tebogo Kuna and KARR/GOLIATH (6 posts up). Since adrienne wasn't with them i assumed that adrienne was going to meet up with randy some other way as an allegiance to knight, since she sorta liked him and she'd be the inside agent (and i diidn't realise the mystery woman was adrienne) my mistake.

It strikes me that the story began to lose its way a little following the introduction of the TKR characters. For the most part, it’s remained fairly consistent for the Knight Industries group, aside from the overlapping that occasionally happens when a number of people are preparing a reply at the same time as each other.

The bad guys on the other hand appear to be very inconsistent. We’ve gone from having a mystery woman, to Adrienne suddenly being the mystery woman, and then to Adrienne being her own woman, and the mystery woman being back to her own character. Then we’ve had the change in objectives on the fly, with the mystery woman taking Goliath after Randy Merritt one minute, and Goliath hitting the SSC with Garthe the next.

We’ve also had people contradicting facts already established about this KARR being the original, and not the military version that was in the new series, which was something I set up to explain why KARR would help Garthe go after the original Michael and KITT, instead of wanting to merge with Mike Traceur again.

It’s important for the people joining in to read the story first, and perhaps even take notes to ensure you don’t contradict what’s already been established, as it’s important to ensure everyone is on the same page, that way, the story will flow freely to a natural conclusion.

Mike terminates the call and put the cellphone back in his pocket.

Mike: KITT, put me through to my father and ... uhm ... KITT.
KI3T: Activating communication link to Knight Industries 2000.

KI2T: Michael, I am receiving a call from the other car known as KITT. It's your son.

Michael: Ok buddy, patch him through.

The upgraded 16:9 screen of the videophone display on KI2T's dash reveals the image
of Mike sat at the wheel of KI3T. An all new screen still using the old mosaic effect!

Mike: I just had an unpleasant call on my cell. It was Garthe. Mean sounding dude,
but I ain't afraid of that douche's threats! Basically, he said he's gonna kill us all,
and destroy both KITTs. He got some African sounding dude with him, and
he's bragging about his upgraded version of Goliath. I hung up on him!

KI2T: Like father, like son!

Flash to the ruins of the SSC.

Mike: It looks like there was an explosion in here.
KITT: There was. When they were spraying bullets they ruptured a gas pipe leading to an explosion.
Mike: KITT is there anything in here that will be of any use.
KITT: It appears that the big rig had a coolant leak. We could use that to track them.
Mike: Well if it the only lead we've got we might as well follow it.
KITT: I can trace the coolant trail using GPS tracking which will allow us to find out where they are right now.

(Mike's mobile rings)

Garthe: Mr Knight we speak at last.
Mike: Who is this?
Garthe: Such a fool. You are speaking to the one and only Garthe Knight.
Mike: You were behind this?
Garthe: But of course.
Mike: When I find you...
Garthe: When you find me I promise you and that car are going to face ultimate destruction. I am going to kill you and everyone close to you.
Mike: You are sick and twisted.
Garthe: Such a pitiful fool who thinks he can defeat me.
(Garthe hangs up)
(Mike gets into KITT and floors it)

So yeah, you done confused me... Maybe try to compile the whole story into one thread? and then start from there?

Knight94 ... a friendly piece of advice for you. It's a little bit difficult to read your posts
containing story dialog, as you're putting your carriage returns in unusual places. May I
suggest that you format your entries a bit more like the way I do mine.

Try separating the narrative from the dialog something like this:



Garthe dials Mike's cell. It rings.

Garthe: Hello, Mike Traceur. Nice to speak to you again, to know that you live.
I advise you to enjoy it while it lasts, for it shall be very brief. You shall die a
painful, burning death, just like your car.

Mike: Hey Garthe, I just wanna tell you, that after I get KITT rebuilt, he and I,
and the rest of my team are gonna come after you and burn you down, you
and your ten ton psychomobile. How's that grind your gears?



Other than that, your entries so far have been good. The entry from "My_Friend_KITT"
with the ghosts of Devon Miles and Wilton Knight seemed a little too offbeat though.

**Just wanted in interject a little, I love the story and the action being described. Except, I don't know how keen I am on the 3000 being made into a new Trans Am in this phase. I mean don't get me wrong its a freaking sweet Idea, but maybe it's just me, I think the new Trans Am would be better used for KI2T instead of KI3T. My point of view being that the original KITT is the Trans Am, he's older and should get the newer body of the same car he is, KI3T is a Mustang and it seems kind of blasphemes (personal preference stating) to not rebuild the Mustang for KI3T and give KI2T the upgrade.

Sorry for the off stroy post, just wanted to give my two cents worth.

Thanks, I'm loving the story and will contribute when I can come up with a cleaver addition to the ongoing saga.

Woa, you guys really are doing great with this! I haven't had time to read any of the messages since I was last on and there are just too many to catch up with. So I'll bow out now. Others are doing excellent with the different characters. I've been quite busy with work and my own stuff so this is getting too far ahead of me. LOL!

Note to ya all:
I think thats just not right... I made the Knight 3000 a 02 TA because, hell thats what i would of loved to see. The 2010 Musterdstain , eh, i like the car, don't get me wrong, but i think the 02 TA for the 3000 works better.
The 2000, wasn't getting a new body because, i prefer him to stay old school TA. But i think i will exclude myself from the story for awhile and see where ya all take it. I might chip in sometime down the road.
