How about this for a season 2 opener
Garthe returns to kidnap michael and the KI2T body with the oringal KARR program in the KI2T. Charles is in hideing from Garthe. Charles had the the oringal KARR program in his lab stolen. A battle between the two cars.

Good idea, except that Charles died when the plane exploded in Day Turns Into Knight.
KITT: Michael, your blood alcohol level is far too high to allow you to take the wheel.

Here's an idea-What if Garthe Knight was able to make himself look like Charles Graiman, and he tries, with a new version of Goliath, attempts to destroy FLAG from the inside?
