knight rider online

you all remember k.r.o. and martin jentzen from the team knightrider series. shouldnt they bring back k.r.o. and martin. and put in the same story line as replacements for michaelknight and k.i.t.t. (knight two thousand)when martin turned kitt bad and went on a crime spree til they was caught sometime later martin went to prison k.r.o. was shut down til present day knight rider 2008 when he was reactivated and broke martin jentzen out of prison and its up to mike and the knight three thousand to stop them.kro should be the same as it was on team knight rider but better interior than it was shown on team knight rider. if you agree or disagree please let me know.

I don't think they would because Knight Rider 2000, Knight Rider 2010, and Team Knight Rider aren't part of the Knight Rider plot continuity anymore, and I doubt NBC would want to recycle that. Interesting concept though...I would want to see that.

this may sound a bit stupid question, but what is K.R.O??? is it part of Team Knight Rider?

KRO was the Knight Reformulation One ... a FLAG supercar turned rogue much like KARR.
It's AI and tech was built into a black Ferrari, rather than a Pontiac or a Ford. KRO was
completely destroyed (IIRC) by being melted down in a vat of molten metal.

It would be coll to see KRO again but i doubt they'd use any storyline from TKR. But if they did it would be cool to bring back Jenny and maybe reveal that her and Mike were twins that were seperated at birth or something ( kinda a Luke/Leigha ripoff i know but still). Technically, we still don't know 100% forsure that Mike's mom from the Pilot was his biological mother do we? They could always say that Stevie was pregnant when she was shot maybe.

If Stevie was pregnant when she was shot it wouldn't be Micheal's kid, no matter where you place that episode from the previous one, it just wouldn't work... Unless you want to say they were seeing each other that we didn't see and even then it wouldn't work since if she was far enough along for that to work it wouldn't all that well.

TKR needs to remain with KR2000 and not in any continuity with the new show. KRO was pretty much the only good thing from TKR but that doesn't mean I'd want them to reintroduce it. How the powers that be brought back KARR was bad enough.... Actually, they should have used KRO instead of KARR in that episode though it still would have been disappointing.

I doubt they'll connect TKR with KR08. If they do make a KRO, they'll just rewrite KRO's back story and make it fit in with KR08's continuity and not use TKR's.

From a storyline perspective I can't really find any way to add a K.R.O AI car without making it feel somewhat glued on as an afterthought, but making it a KI3T copy made with the data the Black River company merceneraies stole in the pilot episode.

If you think about it, the brittish team leader did talk about reverse engineering the AI into something they could use after KI3T shut it's computer part down as the Black River techies was about to get controll of him. I mean it would only be logical that they put the data to use looking at how much trubble they went trough, how much they lost and propably how much they got into trubble after the failiure of the attempt to get access to prometheus.

I mean the brittish team leader could be the driver of the thing and it could bust him out of prison Goliath and Garthe Knight style...

Bringing back KRO would be brilliant, actually bringing back TKR would improve KR08 no end and give the stories a lift, the parodies and homages TKR did were wonderful. As for continuity and canon who cares, you sould never let them get in the way of a good story.

I just finished watching the pisod on youtube, and it is soooooo stupid.
they simply wanted to make a KARR character on TKR and didnt know what to do or how to do it. I mean give a me a break.
even the car it self, the latest and top echnologies are using Ford, and the bad one using a FERRARI. see the difference??

For me, Thank God we dont have TKR any more, and Thank god we dont have to get another K.R.O.

In my opinion TKR never had a good story much less plot direction until they started referencing canon history (especially the older FLAG team), something that KR08 did not take advantage of until it was too late and even then the new series was limited to name references and forced historical placement more than actual character substance true to the original source.

At least Jenny attempted to uncover the mystery of Michael Knight and what happened to the original K.I.T.T in TKR. Just like KR08 (F.L.A.G. team), the firm "connection" we were looking for (in TKR Michael himself showing up, even if he's not Hasselhoff) did not emerge until it was too late to save the series from being placed on the chopping block.

The majority of TKR fans (in my view) remember two episodes vividly out of the entire season of TKR. K.R.O. and Legion of Doom. The rest is utterly forgettable.

Since K.R.O. was melted down along with its original driver, there's no possible way he would come back and even if he could for what purpose? We'd get essentially what "KARRE" was, a clone - a pale copy of the original production line model. A car that is KARR or KRO in name only.

You might as well name your killer robot car/truck, B.O.B. or W.H.E.E.L.S. or V.E.N.O.M. - try something remotely original that doesn't have canon history attached to it.

mustangfan91 i agree with the picture ------my opinion for the storyline is that they should bring kro back.almost like the origional sory line that charles hired the wrong person that took devon miles place to choose the wrong driver for kro that turned kro evil.(still a replacement for michael and kitt after michael retired in 90)they killed many people and tecnicians and went on a crime spree from 91-96. the foundation was put on hold for yrs after that incident because they didnt know who to trust.after that situation with devon miles not around charles had to step in himself to choose the car and right driver to make sure everything goes perfect around the time forthe knight three thousand was about to be created.

Thats a good idea James makes much more sense than the KARR we got for KR08, and would work for for better for KR08 than bringing back KARR. Presonally I thought KRO as a concept worked much better as and idea than both versions of KARR. The Knight AI programs in all the versions do seem to mould the driver.

I am a rare breed I liked TKR alot, yes there were things that could have been better but its stands above any of the other attempts so far.
