It is great news that it will finally air over in the UK and Ireland. I've caught the episodes online but have really been looking forward to them coming to TV. Sci-Fi is a good place to start and it was this station that debuted Heroes in this part of the world before BBC bought it up. Obviously there is a relationship between Sci-Fi and NBC.
I never thought it would make it onto one of the mainstream stations like BBC or Sky, but the likes of Virgin or Living might have taken it :karr: .

Yes there is ... the Sci-Fi channel in both the UK and the US is owned by NBC/Universal.

Let's hope new KR does pick up a decent enough following on Sci-Fi (UK) like Heroes,
for it to be eventually picked by a bigger player in UK broadcasting like the BBC.

It'll never appear on the BBC, as it's a show sponsored by Ford. No shows on the Beeb can have any form of advertising. For example, the 'Blink' episode of Doctor Who had a DVD shop in it and every single DVD sleeve and poster you saw had to be created from scratch by the design team as no real ones could be seen as the BBC is free from all forms of advertising. ITV might have a look at it if it's popular, but if they do I'd hope Sci-Fi would continue to premiere any future new episodes as ITV would most likely cut them for a Saturday afternoon slot.

No its a new trailer, just some clips from the series.

Looks good and I'm pleased its getting promotion a few weeks before it airs.

They are showing the Pilot first as well.

I can't find a trailer for it at the moment I'll try and upload one if I can catch it again.

Was watching ITV early this morning and up comes the Sky + adverts, as they invariably do. As some of you may have seen derivative of this ad, they have five blocks rotating on the screen, each block with a different segment of their channel selection. Usually they have football match bit from the Sky Sports, Movie from the movie channel, news etc etc. For the first time, I noticed that they had KITT (taken from the last scene from the pilot) to represent the variety pack block, with Knight Rider written on the bottom,. It only lasts a couple of seconds but it shows that some cross-channel advertising is also happening for KR08.
