Preformated letter to Ford

I have asked Neps to give me permission to spearhead the "Save Knight Rider Ford campaign", since I have connections with Ford. Neps has given the green light to do a similar campaign as what we did with NBC. I have taken the letter I made for the NBC campaign and have rewritten sections of it and specifically addressed it to Ford.

There are 2 possible people to mail it to, better even mail them both! Pick and download your letter and mail the person on the pdf at the address as listed. Please if you you add an additional personal note make sure it is a positive one and do not make it hateful! We need Fords help on this one!

Feedback is more than welcome.

I guess I shouldn't add :

'Dear Ford,

We know you sponsor the show. Please get rid of the transformation add sequence....do not come back from
a commecial break focusing on a big ford tractor logo, and please destroy the GT that is KITT and have a real KR fan design the car again'...

Heh, good luck with the campaign :). These last few episodes really do feel like the old show, but I wish Mike would discover more on his own rather than have Billy and Zoe doing all the detective work..

It deserves a second season rather than being replaced with CSI Bangladesh :).

As the forum rules imply in this section, please do not make negative comments here... Though I do respect your opinion. Even though I do not agree. I am trying to make us "unite" here in trying to save the series... and if that means showing of logo's in some places and mentioning of Xbox 360's (PS3 for the win!) then I am perfectly fine with that.

Thanks for the words of encouragement though.

Cool! :good:
Who is Jennifer, dose she have connections with who ever buys the advertising spots? Hopefully NBC and Ford are talking deals now before the upfronts.

Oh and if anyone bought a mustang because of KR, like Taoworm did you should send a photo of it along to Ford with your letter.

I think that's a great idea :). Since that is basically what Ford is sponsoring the show for. More sales

Both Mrs Flake and Mr Truby are working at Ford product communications department (sort of like PR). I hope a lot of people will start sending these letters (and maybe photo's) to Ford now too... and get the rolling ball rolling faster.

Hi Tao thanks for the addition of the addresses but Scott Monty is only responsible for Fords own digital communications and websites, so he would not have much to do with KR. Steven Kinkade however might be a good person to mail too... But generally I have already chosen the appropriate people to mail. Either way thanks for thinking with us here... come on people! Lets do this.

@taoworm2323
you should definately write one of those letters to Ford and attach some material of your Project Knight 3000... if that is not proof that KR fans are emotionally connected to and therefore buy Ford's cars then i don't know what is!

hopefully it's not too late, but I'm gonna write. I know I really want my own GT500KR. KR is the one that really got me into mustang and now ford.

OK, i got the chance to write them. I added my own add-on.

"It honestly is because of Knight Rider that I have gotten into Ford. No offence, but I'm a Dodge family and have never owned any Ford. But since I saw Knight Rider, I have fallen in love with the Mustangs, new and old. Kitt, as a 2008 Shelby Cobra Mustang GT500KR, is personally better than any other car I have seen. One day, when I graduate from high school and have enough money to get my own car, the first place I'm going to look is to you guys so I can get the car of my dreams, the GT500KR. I have honelty been convinced that this is one of the best cars in the world today. Please, help save Knight Rider. It would really make a difference."

So what do you think? Think it'll help any?

actually this is the stuff Ford would love to read, it means the show serves the purpose they envisioned, them getting new people in their showrooms.
