Now seriously... All this stuff w/ the website makes me think the show did get picked up for season 2 and NBC is keeping it quiet.

One, GST is gonna exec-produce a movie called Mother Trucker -- http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/con ... 1aff748e31" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .

So they'll probably replace him for season 2.

Two, it's still cheaper to keep KR going -- in-house FX studio and all -- that develop something new in its place.

Three, the show WILL attract an audience abroad, which will make it cheaper. They can sell this literally all over the world.

Four, NBC is not advertising the show because of the changes for season 2. They want to "re-launch" it in September, in an attempt to fix the image issues cause by a wobbly season 1.

Maybe these 4 items justify my hunch... Let's see.

My thoughts about commercials is exactly as Luis. They want that everybody forget about this Knight Rider and in the next season start fresh. They understand, that if they advertise this show, it would have much more viewers (i think it would be ~7-8 millions), so why they don't advertise? - They want everybody to forget about it and start fresh in the new season.

I guess they're considering a second season...And if NBC is getting a new producer, they'd better get a good one! :D

I think Loius might be right on this one and I really hope he is this is a great show and is not doing very well just because it got off to a bad start. I hope that this is why the lack of commercials and that if they get a new producer that they will get a very good one.
