Knight Rider in the Top 10 for DVR ratings
Not only Top 10 but #8!
http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/01/22/de ... -dvr/11327
And this was 12/31's episode, Knight Fever, which had lower ratings than usual.
It seems we get a lot of our viewers from not-on-the-same-day-DVR!
(and somehow, this seems like really good news)

I always thought this was the case. This is further proof that we do have a bigger audience -- certainly more than 5 million.
I think Knight Rider should be on Sunday nights, at 7 or 8 p.m.

You really need to look at what NBC has on Sunday nights, I'll give everyone a hint, it's something that has the initials N.F.L. So, it wouldn't happen and I'm pretty sure NBC has Sunday Night Football again next season as well.
Friday and Saturday are where TV shows are usually moved to die, you do not want it on either of those nights.
Oh yeah and Knight Rider was number four in Greatest % Of DVR Viewing for Broadcast TV Shows, December 29, 2008-January 2, 2009. That could be considered a positive if Networks cared about DVR ratings... They only care about live viewers since they're the ones that likely have to sit through commercials.

The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

the ratings would be higher if it was shown outside the US, we have to download it.

Re: Knight Rider in the Top 10 for DVR ratings
This is great news but networks only care about live viewers as said before and a DVR usually has to be turned to the channel to view it so I don't think that this is an indication that the ratings would be higher if people watched it live cause the DVR would be tuned to the channel to record but I might be wrong.
Sorry if I'm repeating myself over and over.

Re: Knight Rider in the Top 10 for DVR ratings
Heres the thing which you have to look at it from this angle
What was on last night...
Lost (Premiere)
American Idol
They tied up alot of viewers last night especially Lost being a long three hours..
So if the DVR viewing of KR was #8 then there are viewers that are tuning in regardless if it live or not. However 4.9 million doesn't seem like a lot, however even if you took one to two million viewers for DVR tuning then against Lost and AI thats impressive due to the fact that those are big shows with loyal viewership and a strong female viewership.
So to sum it up, this shows to NBC and Ford if they are paying attention that KR is not in the correct night
Second the viewership is growing...
I don't really care that NBC isn't doing advertising, it would be great but it doesn't seem that they do much advertising unless its the shows that have strong loyal viewership base, like Law and Order or ER, and so forth..
So we should look at this and think being realistic NBC as a whole didn't get much market share last night at all...
If KR was to go season two what they should do is put it in season starting January thru April or so...That might help and on a different night whatever that would be....

Or it could mean lots of people watch KR they just dont have a Nielsen's box so their views dont count. I dont know anyone that has a Nielsen's box or has ever had a Nielsen's box. But I dvr it every week they should take dvrs into consideration. Nielsen only give their boxes to reality tv fans so real tv gets screwed.Ontario Knight wrote:It just re-enforces that KR is on the worng day or time I believe...HisNameisGarth wrote:Scroll down on that same page, guys.
