I pretty much hijacked the other fanfic thread, which is supposed to be for everyones fanfics. So, I decided to dedicate an entire thread to my Universe.

My storyline is set in an Alternate Universe from the one the new Knight Rider is set. My universe is a direct sequel to TOS. Old characters are mentioned, and referenced to. And some even return.

But the main story centers around Katherine Long, an ex-marine. She used to be a jet pilot until F.L.A.G contacts her. Her brother, Samuel Long, was hired to drive an experimental car, but he is unable to complete his first mssion. They ask her to take on the first mission for him.

My K.I.T.T and Katherine do not get along in the beginning, K.I.T.T already being used to Samuel. My K.I.T.T has already developed a very strong personality, which sometimes goes at odds with Katherine's. The result is some very humorous banter.

From Episode 2:
Kat: “KITT, come here and give me a hand.”

Okay, I am not getting any perspective from the live discussion of tonight's ep. Can someone help me?

I am talking about the scene in tonights KARR ep, where Billy suddenly mentions that music sharing website that he and KITT use. It being Graiman's idea that KITT get into music so he could experience the different artist's perspectives.

Is it just me, or does this remind anyone of my pilot episode? Chapter 3. Right about here:

“So, you're favorite song is 'Smooth Criminal'?” She asked. She had her hands on the wheel, but she wasn't the one steering. Her reflexes weren't quick enough to handle the highway at they speed they were going.
“It is this week.” K.I.T.T answered.
“This week?”
“It changes, Charles says that is a good thing. He was the one who advised me to listen to music. He said it would help my learning, hearing so many different perspectives at one time. He is also testing the limits of my AI by having me show preference.”


Really, is it just me? If it is, I need someone to slap some sense into me.

No, I was thinking, "Holy crap! Either that is just a coincedence or someone is taking Lynda's ideas." Which, maybe it isn't a bad thing, but they didn't give you any credit.

Maybe I might mention it on the KR blog on NBC.com. They may have taken your idea. That is just strange.

Okay, it's not just me then... Now I feel more creeped out, like someone has been through my underwear drawer...

A person in chat says this has happened to them before. I am thinking someone is copying without permission from author. But maybe it is legal, since the stories were copies of KR from the beginning...now I'm confusing myself. I would not make a good lawyer.

I'm wondering where that came from, since that was the first time at all that it was mentioned. I thought KI3T liked westerns... If they didn't get the idea from me... I mean they paraphrased my pilot episode pretty closely.

When was the script written? When was it shot? It had to have been before I published my pilot, right? What a weird coincendence. The BF was nudging me all through that scene while I just stared at the TV.

That's odd, I was seeing the synopsis for the next episode (Exit Light Enter Knight), and the plot is eerily similar to a story I linked to my DeviantART blog from this site.

It's downright spooky, that's what it is. Oh, and I just uploaded Chapter two of episode eight. I am going to try to get these up rather quickly, because I have this really cool idea I want to get to before the show does. >_<

I can't wait for the awesome idea. I will make sure I catch up later, as I probably will be missing one or two eps. I was allowed this morning! Awesomeness!

Hey Lynda, Good work...I loved the first 2 sentences of this Chapter. I was suprised that KITT didn't do it. *giggle*
He really knows how to hit 'em where it hurts...First with Pierce then threatening Kat's suspension.
The intensity is back and I'm loving the "What happened to Sam" story. Nicely done.
I love the Sci-Fi technology your using also. Just thought I'd add that.

Hello all! I've been sick the past couple of days. Makes writing difficult. >_<

But, I've been in a silly (or delirious, depending) mood while I have been sick and I came up with something. I hope you guys find this as funny as I did.

I've created a 'What If?' that combines my storyline with KR08. I call it Camaro!KITT vs. KI3T. ^_^ It takes place comepletely outside of my Storyline. It's just for fun. Take a look if you feel so inclined.
