Don't shoot the messenger

My contact on the KR set just sent me an email. Now I hope this ain't the case. I sent another email to them asking them to further explain but have not gotten a reply back yet. Espically with the latest episodes so much better in every way I was really hoping it would not go down like this... Hopefully they air the last of the episodes and not scrap them.

Well, ****** just got off the phone with the guy running KR and he said they are done and scraping the last 5 episodes. They are on set painting all the floors right now and striking the last of the sets.

Sorry...... Hopefully I can eat my words and you guys can all yell at me and say told ya it would not be cancelled but we will see. I diden't get the name of the guy they said was running Knight rider. Hopefully I can confirm this shortly.

Update:
No, not filming the last 5 episodes that they had scheduled. They will most likely air what they already shot unless the network decides to throw something else in that time slot. This is just the news of this morning. Just giving you an update. But, like I say... you just never know in this business.

Hopfully I can find out the name in a few minutes....

He probably means episodes 18-22, not 13-17.

Again, none of these messages make any sense.

What do you mean they're not filming the last 5 scheduled 5 episodes? They stopped filming over a month ago. We knew that. NBC cut back the number of planned episodes several months ago. This is all very old news, but it's being presented here as if it's breaking news.

Sorry, something just isn't right here.

That's what I thought as well guys...... I'm the last one who wants to look like an ass here. I was just relaying some info I heard. They just keep telling me it's cancelled so I dunno.

The guy running Knight Rider is Gary Scott Thompson.

The thread starter knows this.

What the hell is going on here? This thread borders on the insane. Lock?

Hmmmm, well one explination could be that the email got sent to someone else who then transcribed it and sent it via pigeon mail to "some other guy" who then transcribed that into an email and forwarded it to that guy?

just a theory, could explain the lag? who knows.

It's funny how most of those topics are started by one person.....

Devon has been a member here for more than five years longer than you have BlackKitt, I don't think it's fair to just flat out call him a troll. Especially with calling him names, I think everyone who does so should offer him an apology if his source turns out to be correct. I may not agree with the way he's going about this (this topic could have easily just been placed in his other with the same subject matter) but I doubt he's doing it to gloat or piss people off. It might not be accurate but on the other hand it might not be far off from the truth.

Same deal with his topic about what other people are saying about KR, as if one can deny those things are being said about the show, warranted or not, when that kind of sentiment is almost everywhere. Even the annoying and tired car complaints.

Again, it sounds to me like a bunch of union members writing back and forth to each other. Perhaps the construction crew assigned to KR. Hence the term the guy running KR -the union boss in charge of getting the crew together for a show. It sounds like his answer to the question, “is there work to be had on the show”? And he answers no it’s all done just painting the floors. They are going to be thinking along the lines work or no work. Not is it getting a second season. The new possible season is so far away that it is likely no one has started hiring crews for it yet. So they are not going to know of it or not. I don’t know that we will get any official word on this matter anytime soon. But I think the next week’s episode’s ratings will play a key roll in the decision.
Lucky for us it is going to be totally awesome!!
