Knight Rider sat nav question.

I've found the Knight Rider sat nav on e bay for shipping to the uk.
However even after asking the seller a question I'm still a bit concerned about a few things and wondered if any of you guys could help?

1. I was told by seller that uk maps are downloaded from mio.com, but looking at the site I can't seem to find them unless I'm missing something? obviously I'd need uk mapping.

2. Chrarging the unit.. am I right in thinking the states are on a diffrent voltage to the uk?

Any help I would really appricate it.

Thanks.

The Mio store is kinda 'off-site' and not directly linked. It took me awhile to find it when I got my KR GPS this christmas and was curious on the map updates. The Western European map updates are $99.

The KR GPS comes with a USB cable and a car cig-lighter power input. It'll charge off either of those items. I don't know if US & UK cars run at a different voltage, but I seriously doubt they do.

Did they fix the playback issues so the KITT sounds like KITT and not some strangely warped version of what Daniels recorded?
