OK, I might be showing my age, or stupidity here.. or both, but what's this "broseph" thing all about?
Is it American slag for something? is it a reference to something?

I believe it is just slang. KITT's been doing a lot of slang recently. I am finding it somewhat annoying.

There's another word I wish they'd quit using (esp. Mike) ... DUDE ... I HATE that word!

Slang once or twice is funny for KITT. But they overuse it. Makes me feel queasy.

Nice one Weeezl. I did think it was related to "bro" in some way. Your post just confirmed it.

Dude, what are you talking about?

ok thanks for that guys. Obviously the latest slang from the ghettos hasn't reached my corner of the world yet.
I'm inclined to agree about Kitts slang, now that I think about it. I think it's one of those things that you subconsciously know is wrong but can't quite pick it out, until someone mentions it and then *WHAM* there it is.
They're obviously trying to make Kitt hip... as if a talking "thinking" car isn't hip enough already

Personally I didn't care for it, it would have been one thing if KITT picked it up somewhere, be it someone (Billy/Zoe) or maybe while parked somewhere or was scanning television channels and came across it. But it just came from no where..

In certain instances, it seems like Kitt using the slang doesn't fit his personality. It's out of whack somehow, like singing in the wrong key. I have to agree that it's OK in some cases depending on the scene, circumstance, or just picking it up somewhere, but for him just to say it like it's a part of his everyday speech just doesn't work. He's more the serious type. But at the right time and place, it can be funny.

I've been wondering what it was myself, lol.

"Dude" is what my dog does in the garden.
I quite liked KI3T using "Brosef" though - it was a symptom of the virus though I believe?

Wasn't he played by Christopher Lee in the Star Wars films?

This KITT understands slang, but more importantly he knows how to bond with his owner. I have a Chrysler 300 that automatically adjusts my seat to the way I like it. Do you guys have a problem with that?? lol!

I found it funny more than anything else - like when he made a joke that one time early on, I think it was the first or second episode. Mike even commented on how KITT'd developed a sense of humor.
He'd been watching old Westerns...

Personally, I'm waiting for KITT to say "Dude - what the f**k?!" when Michael screws up.
Now that would be funny, if not network friendly...

I can imagine KITT and KI3T cursing a million times in a sentence.
KITT:****!****!****!****!
Michael:Watch your language!
KITT:****.
