Hmm I do not see why, usually actors and actresses like playing villains because it allows them to do things they would never do in real life anyway, what I've heard from multiple interviews of performers anyway...
hmmm....wearing a fake pornstache and beard, immitating a lame ass ring leader, and marking that as one of my favorite acting roles sounds like a plateu I could only step up to once in my lifetime. He did it twice, because he's magnificent.....He's The Hoff..

I would really hope for DH to return. I mean once people hear the Hoff is returning and WD as the original KI2T then more and more people will tune in. Many have stated that because it isn't like the original it is crap, so to please more people and gain more ratings = DH & WD Back

I really hope GST considers a multiple story arc like he said for MK, it would be awesome to bring back maybe an old villian or someone who knew MK and found out he had a son so used that towards him to make him come back and ride once more. But of course have KI2T & KI3T co-exist amongst themselves. This should be done hopefully second season I am going to assume.

I think the producers wanted Garthe back for a 3rd time in TOS but he declined.
Understandable. However, If the only character they(The producers) would want him to play is Garthe then it shouldnt be as difficult for him (Of course, what do I know). That would be an interesting plot twist if Garthe Knight was behind all the Terrorist activity that the new Michael Knight and KITT have been up against. And can you Imagine what a new version of Goliath Would look like?

No Garthe... No Garthe, especially has Hasselhoff. It's been roughly 25 years, Hasselhoff has aged quite a bit and seeing as story wise Michael and Garthe aren't related at all, there's really no reason he'd age and look similar if he some how survived the journey over the cliff. They could get away with using someone else... Though still I just wouldn't want Garthe to show up at all. A kid or two? Sure, but no Garthe...

Not sure I understand this point. Garthe is an ordinary person like everyone else and would age just like every person does.

He would look like how Hasselhoff is now I imagine, with the exception of a dodgy looking moustache.

They could say that he got plastic surgery again but he would still need to have Hasselhoff''s husky voice.

The point is that they're two completely different "people", they're not twins. They had different lives and life styles. Plastic surgery or not, it doesn't change that nor does it change the fact that everyone ages differently, even actual twins. Of course Garthe ages, the point is that after 25 years, he probably shouldn't look exactly the same as Michael with only a silly goatee separating them.

Yeah, and they actually pulled that off. For it's time they had a lot of practical effects that actually worked. Especially the stunts! As for Hoff returning, I could see him doing a mentor, or leadership role in the "new" FLAG. I think the fans would like to see him return old and new... Afterall he is the original Michael Knight, there was that little cameo at the end of the pilot... 8)
