Ratings for "Knight Fever"

The movie "Shrek 2" put ABC on top at 8 p.m. with a modest 3.2/6. A "Bones" repeat on FOX earned a 2.8/5, edging NBC's "Knight Rider" (2.7/5). CBS was right behind, averaging 2.6/5 with repeats of "Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried." The CW aired the movie "How to Deal."

Well we were third place for our timeslot which probably isn't that great. The good news is though we were NBC"s #1 show of the night even beating NBC"s New Year's Eve festivities. That is good for us. We beat the second Bone's broadcast at 9pm but was beat out by it at 8pm.

Audience total's for the overnight's have come in now also. Our average total viewers was 4.475 Milllion Viewers down from Knight of the Zodiac's 5.12 million. Also we lost viewers from 8-8:30. 8:00 4.57 million, and at 8:30 we dropped to 4.38 Million. Good news though we were indeed NBC's #1 show of the night everything else continued to drop every halfhour the rest of night. With the New Year's Eve being the lowest. Sounds like the opposite of what you would expect. Has to help KR though in NBC"s eyes some.

I think those numbers are pretty good for a show that has been off the air for 6 weeks and wasnt promoted until about 10 seconds before the episode started. NBC better not do anything to thise show because of ratings, because they did nothing to advertise one of the best episodes from the FBI/SSC arc... well...next week's the start of this arc's end. Who's ready?

This doesn't surprise me as everyone thought it was canceled. I bet next weeks episode does well now that everyone sees it's not.

The fact that NBC continued to gain viewers as the everyone else dropped is a good!
and that after 6wks KR managed a "decent" in my eyes 3rd place standing is not bad!

But we consider that "all" shows are suffering for low ratings b/c of the strike last year.
So i try to keep numbers in perspective.

I don't think these numbers mean too much. Next week will be a more important barometer. And, it will be very interesting to see if NBC promotes the show during football this week-end.
