I doubt KITT is going to have a "Rock'em Sock'em mode" to stand up to KARR that way, at least I hope not... There's really no reason for it and KARR shouldn't be a Mustang either. Going from the images KARR is very limited to what he can change into and it's much more simplistic. Just like a prototype...

there is no voice. I hear music and have it turned all the way up...there is not enough time to even hear much even if it was there...lame

btw the turbo boost looks like the same old cheap vfx we have been seeing. If you look closely, the car looks cheaply added to the scene and when KI3T clears the construction site, watch the construction workers... they dance looking straight forward from the time turbo boost happens till the end without turning around to look at what just happened.

yuck, the new karr looks awful, it reminds me of one of the robots from transformers, why couldn't they just use another mustang without doing the robot transformation.

Aww man! That’s what I get for taking a three hour plane flight! Everyone else was running to have a smoke I was running to get my KRO fix. Ahhhh that’s the good stuff.
Okay so maybe I already saw KARR… *people throw rocks* And yes he is totaly cool and only gets cooler - but that airplane was awesome! I’m looking forward to that episode, that’s gonna be a ride!

Those 4 seconds of KARR has me more excited about Knight Rider than the original series, the backddor pilot and the first 8 episodes put together.....

seriously knight rider shouldnt be about robots,,i understand the writers of knight rider might have wanted to do something different,but this is just way over the top

ya man you are totally right but until i see the episode the jury is still out for me.

Why dont they just change the name of the series to Transformers! I mean thats what it looks like to me & nobody can really deny that it basiclly is a transformer knock-off. Wow this just keeps getting worse & worse! Whats next Goliath turns into a transforming semi? Oh right thats in another series, His name is something like optim something, sorry i forgot!

I have an opinion on this footage but there are two sides to it.

One, is that the FX look really good and it got me excited. But on the flipside, it's a bit weird to see that this is what KARR has become now and I'm not sure whether I am liking that or not. Whether it's the same KARR or a different one is no longer relevant, given the footage, because just by looking at 2 seconds of that, the feeling of the old KARR went. I got a different vibe about it.

I'm a guy of simple tastes, I'd have preferred him to just be a car and not make everything big and complicated.

Still, the FX look amazing for a tv show and I couldn't even tell that was all CG so well done to the FX team.

This could just be the thing to save the show even if not all the original fans will be happy with it. But I suppose you can't please everyone.

Btw, it's cool they included Cullen's voice in the reel but there is still no guarantee that he will be voicing "KARR". I'll be happy once I see a confirmation if there is one.

The robot does look cool, BUT, if KARR was a Mustang, fine, and if he is a robot fine, but NOT both. If so, it should be a Transformers crossover. I keep seeing everyone here writing about crossover episodes, here you go. The Turbo Boost wasn't impressive thus far, but I'll wait till I see the finished version.
