Thank you Tony. I appreciate it. I've been looking all over for that font.

Tao. Your project looks excellent. You've got some mad tallent. I visited your youtube page. You've done a lot of prep to get your Knight Rider movie up and running. I'm looking forward to seeing more down the road. Good luck.

I like the possible homage to Viper with the Camaro's headlights. Nice touch.

I updated the voice box some more. Tell me if you guys like....
The phosphors now emit a truer color on the backing of the orb. Also the graphics have been updated in HD. (You can even see the individual numbers in the VU display. (It's just hard to make out with my camera...)
And thanks to the slight concave design on one end, the display on the orb end looks 3-d in person. The red part looks closer than the blue.

I will be selling the first 10 vox orbs I make on Ebay.
Price has yet to be set, still working things out.

It will come with the hardware you see in the video plus software to run with a carPC in your car.
Directly hooks up to the carPC to display K3000's vox unit.
Adapters to the carPC also included. NTSC only.
The display orb runs off of 12V dc, and is made of optical grade poly(methyl methacrylate).
I measured the current draw, and the orb is around 0.56 A, in other words 560mAh.
I am building two versions right now.

And on a side note, the video of this thing does no justice at all. It is truly hypnotic to see the water effect in this clear semi orb.

That is awesome!!! Good job. I love how the HAL-like eye follows you in any direction.

I am curious. Are you going to make the 3 bar original KITT VOX graphic for this stronger. I see the shadow for the 3 bars but when Val speaks it seems to disappear showing only the sound line. Maybe it's just me.

That is still Cool!

I would also like Tao's mod files if at all possible. If someone could please email them to me at: swwright78@gmail.com I would very much appreciate it. My parents just got me the Knight Rider GPS for Christmas, and I love it so far, but I'd definitely like to have the pitch raised on WD's voice, as well as the other sounds you added.

Tao, your project is awesome! I too have been following your Youtube videos, and I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. I wish I had half the talent it takes to do something like that. Of course, it probably wouldn't look as awesome in my CR-V, lol.

Well, is it just one file in the .rar? If not, you could put the files into a few .rar files, and they would be faster uploads. Or if there is a way you can put it on a host site and to be downloaded, just email us a login and password so not everyone can get to it. Just some random thoughts...
