TRICK OR TREAT - HALLOWEEN TURNS DEADLY WHEN A TECH IS MURDERED INSIDE KNIGHT INDUSTRIES HEADQUARTERS -- An infiltrator murders a tech inside Knight Industries headquarters and the team must find them before they kill again. Meanwhile, Mike (Justin Bruening) and Sarah (Deanna Russo) are stuck on a flight during a storm and must try to stop KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer) before he self-destructs.

What's the "trapped with no way out" part? I thought KITT go through the hangar door. Hope they will give us an explanation.
I doubt this one will live up to the great last episode, but I hope they'll prove me wrong.

Truth be told, I wonder if this episode was a "cost saver" one, where KITT's time on the road is limited (if not non-existent) and there aren't as many FX to do as compared to a normal episode. It would make sense to offset costs in such a way, and most series wind up doing it at some point.

I knew it! I thought they weren't going to mention KARR when Sarah kept waffling on answering KITT's question, but this was the most obvious answer and I'm so happy they did it.

With this mention of KARR, Is this the first actual reference to the TOS? I know there was Devon and Bonnie, but that was more of an off handed remark reference. I have to say it did send chills down my body when Charles said it just because I'm am anxiously awaiting that episode.

Not seen the new episode yet but i can say that TOS has been referenced in the pilot. Wilton Knight was name checked, Michael Knight Snr turned up. Bonnie and Devon, of course, were mentioned recently and in ep 1 of the series, Mike also namechecked his father's original name (although shortened to 'Mike Long'...).

This is becoming one of the best episodes yet! KITT's got personality and is pissed that Charles made a self-destruct in him without KI3T's knowledge!

This episode is really good. Not a fan of KARR being a damn robot though. It's like they don't want to say Trans Am. I'll stop there before I go into Anti-Ford comments.
Nonetheless, good episode so far.

What the heck!!! They made KARR into a transformer??? When the heck did that happen??? And on top of that how. Last we saw his CPU was in the desert underneath a bridge!
What is going on????

So KARR isn't the KARR we know.....now that just makes all our other threads and ideas null and void. Somehow, I'm not as enthusiastic about the Knight to King's Rook episode as I was before. Although it does mean that they could put KI3T into KITT's shell as a last-ditch effort to combat the new KARR!

It's a different KARR. THe new 'transformer KARR' stands for something different. It was KI3T's prototype.

wtf....
Karr looks really horrible if he's going to be a robot like that. REAL horrible. Like...I'll refuse to watch this show ever again if he ends up like that. And my life will be meaningless.
Episode was AWESOME once Graiman(sp?) says "KARR" but then when Kitt starts talking about him...downhll after that.
