Yeah actually I do have an update on the screensaver.

Hope you guys like it, I was a little reluctant to upload the screensaver because Im not 100% satisfied with how it turned out in the end, I had some real problems with this one.

Anyways, leave some feedback, let me know what you think.

I think the bars are a little too thin unless you're intention was to make it from a slight overhead view.I see the reflextion is going far beneath the actural scanner.It goes too far off the screen.It should bounce back as soon as it hits the ends of the screen.The bars of light need to be stretched up and down more and the reflection shorter.

It is thin, more so if you have a widescreen monitor. This was done frame by frame so Im not sure if I wanna redo the whole thing but I might have a little play about with the aspect ratio and see if I can make the scan thicker, cheers for the feedback anyway, it all helps to get it closer to the real thing

Oh,I forgot to also mention that the center point where the 2 bars meet and bounce back need to be closer together.The best place to find how the scanner should look should be the first minute of the last 2 episodes.

Now for the constructive criticism you like .

I would like the light to fade all the way on and all off. It stops about an inch from the center and it looks as if it's a trailing light where the whole light moves too much like the original. A cool option to add is the bright on effect they showed when he nano morphed in the Feb movie and the scanner fully lit up by quick fade on then started scanning.
So you have no excuse to think you are finished .

Yeah sure I could change it Karrs color if you wanted, only a couple of people said that the current version of the screensaver is not quite accurate enough, I based this version on the "You may call me Kitt" teaser to which it is the same but the scan in that vid is slightly different to what you see in the show. If youre happy with the way the KI3T screensaver is then sure Ill knock out a yellow version.

I am trying to make an improved version but I swear its a pig to get it looking right and Im not exactly a graphic designer so its been difficult and time consuming and still does'nt look right! grrrrrrrrr

I tried to download this coz it sounds really cool but it won't let me. When i click on the link i just get the Internet Explorer cannot display this web page crap.

Tried with Firefox and Opera too but no joy. Any ideas???

Problems with my filehosting again, somehow I managed to max out my bandwidth yet again, Im gonna get it put up somewhere else and Ill post a new link soon.

No its just the scanner bars on there own, check out this link it will give you an idea what it looks like.

Actually I did have an idea about the whole car as a SS, based on animating this pic.
