Another Newhall Film Ranch location, again just off Potrero Canyon Rd in Newhall, CA, was used as the location for Interstate Waste Disposal's illegal polluting activities and where KITT is caught off-guard and all but destroyed after being dropped in the pit of acid.
Interestingly, 'Acid' John Byrock's office buildings can also be seen in the 4th image in the A Plush Ride thread, (the acid pit would be on ground to the immediate left of the blue car):
