The climax of this episode takes place at Brackett Airfield in Verne, CA. It's the same airport used in "The Topaz Connection" and can be identified by the unique shape of the control tower:

Hi!

I know it's very difficult to find but maybe somebody knows where this location is. It's the "house in the mountains" how the criminals call it where Stevie is safe and the street to the house as well as the surroundings. If we know the street, I think we'll find the location.

On the road to the "house in the mountains", you can see a distinctive rock also used in The Dukes Of Hazzard. It's on Highway California 23 near Lake Eleanor. Maybe it's a clue, maybe it's a trap ! Keep on searching.

Do you have a more exact location for that rock formation, maybe a cross street it is near? I'd like to join in on the search...

Thanks!

Here it is :

It's called Decker Canyon Road (Google Earth) or Westlake Boulevard (Google Maps). I hope we'll find it.

You won't believe it but I think I've found it ! 1136 East Potrero Road, Westlake Village.

A Dukes of Hazzard forum helped me a lot to identify the street :

You can find those distinctive overhead wires. In the background, you can also see a hill even if trees have grown a bit.

Talking about the house, the gate is still the same. What convinces me is the aerial view. You can recognize the small bridge's house. I can't find the right word to describe it. What's your mind ?

Edit : the correct address seems to be 1250 E. Potrero Rd., Westlake Village, CA (Foxfield riding school).

I'm not 100% convinced it's the same place yet...I think it is, but I can't fully match up the buildings yet. The building in the episode has that distinctive drive under section. Here's a picture of one of the buildings at the riding school:

You will see that the building is the same green color and the roof design is the same...

I need to research more...but good work!

The first pic with the same green color and flowerpots. We're not far.

It's curious. A few days ago, I thought the house was demolished while I was searching around Lake Sherwood. Now, I believe the opposite is the case. It hasn't changed too much. Maybe the green carpet is still there ?!!!

I add 2 things :
- the presence of dirty water on the left of the vidcap with the over turned car. There's a river close to the house.
- a pic of the landscape behind the house with a similar relief.

Thanks.

V.
