This is my very first post so figured I just as well make it a useful one.

At the very start of this episode in the clip before the racecar slams into the wall in flames you will see cars travelling under a bridge.

This was the bridge on the back straight of the Riverside International Raceway. I don't have a screen grab of the shot in question but will try and get one. Below is how it looked during a Winston Cup weekend. The cars on KR are driving the wrong way around the circuit.

The Raceway closed down in 1989. The 'Bosch' logo on the bridge was covered for filming.

The crash where the car slams into the wall in flames was filmed on the banked curve of track at the end of the said back straight which can be seen in the distance of the above photo.

This location is now a Shopping Mall.

The bridge at 28:26, I'm not sure where that is, but the Parque Xalapa I found. The road where they line up for the second leg is S Village Oaks Dr.

Cimarron Valley Lodge - doesn't appear to exist. Seen at 31:28. It looks, from the architecture, that it's the building at 1373 Center Ct Dr, Covina, CA.

The racing scenes as well as KITT’s symbolic Turbo Boost over the “General Lee” and the subsequent fiery end of the latter, were filmed on the old Golden State Highway towards and around Pyramid Dam, Piru Creek, San Emigdio Mountains (just north of Castaic).
