Acid_John_Byrock wrote::Hi everyone!!!... I don't know if you had already found this location but for any doubt, I posted anyway.
This place is the "U.S. Government Data Center" in the episode of "THE SCENT OF ROSES" and is located in Encino, CA, that's just in front of the Woodley Ave. Park (AKA "TANEKA'S COMPLEX" in "KNIGHT OF THE RISING SUN" that Joe (Huth) give us the favor to posted in the forum months ago).
Exactly, I don't know what kind of building is that, but I think it looks like a Water treatment plant or something that has to be with water affairs.
Anyway, I send you this information, I hope you enjoy!...
Saludos from Mexico!!!.
Eugenio.
Ah yes, I do recognize this place it's the Japanese Garden At Tillman Water Reclamation Facility.
Err well make that a very smelly Japanese Garden.
Knight of the Rising Sun..
I couldn't get down to the right perspective for these shots without climbing a wall. Considering there were about as many gaurds around the place as there were in the show I figured I'd pass. Plus with my luck I'd fall in, then I really would have the scent of roses.
This location is also near the Sepulveda Dam, I'll have to go back.
Google Map
On my way out I saw this.. it felt familiar so I took a picture.
This shot appears right before the elusive House of The Rising Sun, looking at them now though I don't think it's a match.

I think it's exactly a match. Although you'd have to walk a bit further into the road to get an exact picture to match the screen grab. The building above the white car in your photo (middle of the road) is the one on the furthest left, the next one along has had a sign added in your photo.
Good find.
Is anyone ever tempted to drive their replicas around for photos of these places?

Regarding the Japanese Gardens, here's the path they travel in "Scent":
From the same episode - Purdue Auto Parts.
4708 Lankershim Blvd
North Hollywood, CA
Michael's karate kick gives this one away...note the address above the door:
And here's what the auto parts place looks like (in reality a tire shop):
Anyone know where the wedding location from this episode was filmed?
Joe

Lol, no fair Joe I recognized that repair shop right away, it being right next to me and all, I just haven't got the time or the daylight to snap a picture just jet. But also the restaurant from Scent is once again this one.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11725&st=0&sk=t&sd= ... 75#p138777" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'll have to see if I can get the inside one of these days.
I didn't recognize the wedding location.. but maybe we can work on that beach house by the shape of the mountains you see down the beach from it.

I think this is it... Those tall buildings seen in the background are most likely on Ventura Blvd somewhere between Balboa and the San Diego Fwy. Actually, between Hayvenhurst and the San Diego Fwy is probably a little more accurate.
Plus if you compare the new pic to the old one, the curbs on the left still appear to be somewhat red in color. Also, compare the mountain tops - even though the new pic wasn't taken at the same angle as the old one it's easy to see very, very close similarities between the two.
Great job!

Ist that a white trans am or camaro in the picture above where it says "Alley on Orange St near Citrus Ave:" Second car from the front. That would be neat if it was a trans am as they are so much older now

Wow very interesting coralations between dukes and KR. Wasn't Dukes on before Kr? In the shot of the farmhouse from KR the farm house looks newer and in better shape than it does in Dukes.

The above turbo boost scene was filmed at "Indian Dunes" (highway 126) near the following location.
Season 4, Episode: The Wrong Crowd
Scene: The gang got cash out of an ATM after Nick hacked the bank computer
Location: 27211 Henry Mayo Dr, Castaic, CA 91384
Note: This location is not far from the location of "Arkett Industries" (coursey of Knight Rider Archive)

The red circles indicate a biforked tree now and then.

The following picture shows the cues (in red circles) to this location.
Top: the address '27211' is clearly seen on the door
Bottom: an entrance to I-5 nearby before Michael and KITT arrived (last picture)

Comments: It seems that this episode was filmed mostly near Castaic Junction
(there was a "Galloway's Junction" in this episode!). Now, here are some challenges:
1. the location where the semi was hijacked
2. the location of Pop's Diner

Sue - I also believe the "Scent of Roses" beach house is near Point Dume. Let's all band together (as we did for Margo's San Francisco house in "Drones"!) and try to find this beach house. Some more cues:
Here's the beach house:
Notice the rock formation right outside a down a bit from the beach house:
Here's that rock formation again, notice the house next door:
Good luck all!

And here's two pictures of that beach house from the first season MacGyver episode called "Target MacGyver". Doesn't help much, but hey, can't hurt:
Notice the same rock formation in the window:

Well the location I was looking at for the beach house did have a rock formation. You can see it here in the Google earth photo. I looked for a while to see if I could recognize the exact house but couldn't. There have been fires in that area so its possible the home is no longer there. There are not too many spots that have a side road and not the PCH behind them and this spot also has the cliff we see in the back. Maybe I'll take a trip over there and look at those rocks. What do you think is that the spot?

Sue and Joe, here are some more cues:
In addition to the rocks behind Michael, on the left-hand side,
you can see an elongated rock (yellow arrow) in the scene.
The blue square indicates the possible house (match roof color)
on the beach. There is also a cliff behind it.

Here is a closer view using Bird's Eye View on Virtual Earth.
The telephone pole in the red circle is yet another cue.
With all converging evidence, I still cannot draw a conclusion
because the shape of the house is somewhat different.

That one looks a lot like it. It's hard to be certain. Perhaps if you take away the building closer to the beach and only look at the buildings in the back.

It does look like the hills are lining up correctly in the back of that one.

That has to be it. The part closest to the water looks like an addition, or replacement (being that close to the water there's bound to be some kind of damage over the course of 20+ years). But really look at the chimney in the center, and the angled wall the butts up against it. Plus, next to the chimney is a small peaked roof. I think you guys found it.
