1982, this is a fantastic finding!
Although the building is gone, some structures are still intact today.

Just to borrow some screenshots from Joe's post in page 15 for a now and then comparison:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11725&start=350#p157552" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(whoops! I meant to compare them in the same page, but my post starts a new page)

the mini pier matches the one in the Bird's eye view above:
Image

the rectangle pier extended into the water matches this scene:
Image

there is a small ramp next to the rocky breakwater where Michael and KITT were hiding:

Knight of the Phoenix
Scene: The second phone booth location where the thieves drove KITT away.

This location was revealed by Handzus' Stupid Fro back in page 12.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11725&start=275#p154057" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

precise address:
American Gas Co.
24062 Lyons Ave (at Lyons Ave & Fourl Rd)
Newhall, CA 91321

Last month, I had a chance to drive by Santa Clarita and took some photos here. There is no phone booth today!

Here's one I was really excited to find! The scene originated in "Inside Out", but was reused a number of times in the first half of season 1...the infamous Semi Rendezvous:

Image

Since this scene was filmed during "Inside Out", I figured it may be located near Kincaid's estate, which was previously identified. There's a scene where Michael is pulling into the front gates at Kincaid's estate and you can see the same white fence as in this scene. So I followed it down Mulholland until I found the location! So, here it is:

Michael drives down Mulholland Highway, then stops and turns left on to Stokes Canyon Rd!

Image
Image

Notice the large tree is still there (in the distant background of the TODAY shot):

Hopefully someone can go out and get TODAY pictures!

To add to my previous post...Michael also passed by the Semi Rendezvous while driving back from Redmond's Victory Academy in "A Plush Ride"!

Image

Image

Makes me wonder if the famous 180 turn seen in a few episodes is near here:

Image

And now, for another location! But first, a question. Do you think Micki Bradburn and Gina Adams went to the neighborhood picnics together? I ask this because...I've located Micki's apartment building from "Forget Me Not" - it's only a few buildings away from Gina Adams' apartment in "A Good Knight's Work"! Take a look:

Here is Gina's place in "A Good Knight's Work":
Image

Here is Michael passing Gina's place in "Forget Me Not":
Image

And here it is today:
Image

From "Forget Me Not":

Today:

Heck, even the insides of their apartments look similar!

...and here's the location of the 180 degree turn, seen in "A Plush Ride", "Custom KITT" and maybe a few others:

Image
Image

It's on Mulholland Dr, before you get to the semi rendezvous location.

Also, another location from "Forget Me Not" - the scene where the Frenchman, dressed as a homeless person, grabs the suitcase out of the dumpster...this was also filmed on Whipple St and the alley behind Lankershim!

See Gina's building in the background:
Image
Image

While the alley part doesn't exactly match, I believe it to be the same location...I think that the Pontiac dealership in the screenshot was replaced by that parking garage...either that, or this scene was filmed elsewhere:

Red "X" is dumpster:

Joe, here is another location not far from the '180-deg turn' on Mulholland Hwy you just showed.

In the beginning of the episode: Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular
The sign 'Las Virgenes Cyn Rd' can be seen clearly.

location:
1678 Las Virgenes Rd, Calabasas, CA, 91302

Did you check your distributor cap ;)

Adrianne said her house was just down the road but I just checked the driving directions between the place where her car broke down and her house and the distance is approximately 50 miles / one hour away :lol:
Hope the following link will work:

This is a fascinating thread! :D I shall have to pay more attention so that I can contribute. And thanks to whoever identified the College of the Canyons as the test track in JYD, amongst other episodes - I've been meaning to look that up for ages!

I don't suppose anybody has a clue about where Bonnie's apartment complex in 'Halloween Knight' might be located? That's another one I would like to find. :|

Here's a bunch of new locations from "Merchants of Death":

Let's start with the grocery store Michael stops at:

18426 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country, CA

Unfortunately, that building has been torn down, but check out the one behind it...it's a match!

Image
Image

An aerial shot shows where this market used to be:

Image

Next location is Elmo's Garage in "Elektra, AZ". In reality, it's right up the road from the market!

Corner of Sierra Highway and Arline St, Canyon Country, CA:

Image
Image

And how about the scene where the semi crosses an intersection while Camela and Michael swap driver's seats?

That's at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Sierra Cross Ave:

Image
Image

Image
Image

That's it for now!

It scared me for a while, then I checked the original photo (4MB) I took.
It turned to be a lightpost whose stem was light-colored (see the same lightpost below).

For some reason I thought you were placing it here Joe,

But as I was standing there taking that photo it did not feel right, then I realized it could be the side street behind the dealership so I snapped a picture of that.

Looking back on the map I think that's where you meant Joe.
You'll notice the drainage ditch in the road is a match. I can't be sure, but if someone goes back and looks at A Good Knights Work again we will probably know.

Hey Sue,

Great work as always! Yes, I was referring to the alley behind the dealership. A lot has changed there, but I feel that you have found it.

On a side note, when I have spare time (ha!), I have started re-watching the episodes in order and making notes of all the locations we have yet to find. I'm only to "White Bird" and I've already recorded 77 locations to find...so while it seems we have found nearly all the locations, we have in fact only begun!

On another side note, I think we have identified all locations for "Forget Me Not"! Can anyone think of any others we missed?

Oh, I think we will be doing this for a long time to come. I haven't even popped in an episode in quite some time. As soon as I do I'll start recognizing places all over the place. First I have to catch up with you guys and visit all the ones you've found. I think last I left off I was only up to like page 6 or so of this thread.

Season 3: Knight of the Drones

Here are some field trip photos when I attended a conference at San Francisco in June.

## time code: 8:57
see earlier post by Joe in page 10: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11725&st=0&sk=t&sd= ... 25#p143871" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Joe Huth wrote: Next is the marina that KITT drives by both at the beginning and the end of the episode. We didn't make it to the marina but were close enough to get this comparison shot:
Joe, I got to visit the exact location this time. 8)

Location:
Golden Gate Yacht Club
Yacht Rd, San Francisco, CA, 94123

Image
Image
For privacy concern, I blurred the person in the image, so it's not a ghost :)

Image
Image

## time code: 47 min 48-54 sec

The semi passed in front of the "Palace of Fine Arts"

approximate location of the camera man:
2392 North Point St (cross street: Baker St)
San Francisco, CA

Google Street View:
also see wiki here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Fine_Arts" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Image

## China Town
I took a few photos from the same perspectives Joe posted in page 10.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11725&st=0&sk=t&sd= ... 25#p143871" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just to add this scene at time code 36:52
It's amazing most stores (in Chinese) in the scene are still in business 25 years later.

location: Jackson St. & Grant Ave, San Francisco, CA
Image
Image

## Twin Peaks
see earlier post by Joe in page 4 and 16:
viewtopic.php?p=137808#p137667" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11725&start=375#p158864" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I took the photos from exactly the same perspective of the camera man.
approx address: 364 Christmas Tree Point Rd, San Francisco, CA

Well I agree that it doesn't look like Stanford's Hoover tower. As that has a rounded roof. It's hard to imagine what else it could be. It's certainly an old building, and by the red tile roof I would guess California.
I think Cal State was used as Stanford in KR 08.
Did that shot start as a wider shot and then push in? Maybe there were other clues.
