Yeah, where are the commercials previewing the return of Knight Rider? Didn't someone on these boards declare a teaser was supposed to be on last Sunday's Sunday Night Football?

They probably won't do it until after Knight Fever airs since I still think they just want to get it out of the way, hence airing it on New Years Eve.

I kept sneaking peeks at the football game while at work yesterday to see if there was a KR commercial. They advertised their New Years party special like a dozen times but no KR mention. It made me sad.

Seeing the lack of KR ads..I hope what PHOENIXZERO says is correct.
It IS indeed logical though... why advertise for the episode that they don't want people to notice too much

I've always wondered why they did not just scrap the show and release it later as a DVD special or something though... now isn't the greatest time to air a "bad" episode of KR.

A lot of time and money goes into producing episodes, so I guess it would be rather costly to have it just as an extra on any future DVD release!
I'm quite worried about it TBH - can it really be so bad that they have to 'bury' it away like this? Surely the hundreds of people involved in making it must have thought it wasn't up to scratch and said something along the way?
I thought from the premise that it sounded quite good - KI3T catches computer virus and has to fight it off etc...

Yes, because everything that's been said regarding NBC's intentions for the three part relaunch indicates that they've given up on it.

Wish they would have aired the episodes that have been completed before New Years and have the reboot start in January.
