I was typing Knight Industries into Google because I wanted to find NBC's K.I. website as I don't know the URL and stumbled upon this...they even use the chess piece as part of their logo in the top left corner:

http://www.knight-ind.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You're kidding me! :shock: Wow... Hey, maybe they'll get into Artificial Intelligence! And I'm being serious, and not clowning around. Maybe they'll make themselves well known...?

Gah, listen to me, who'm I kidding?

They've been around awhile. I saw that site years ago. I think they design industrial robots or something. I forgot now.

Speaking of industrial robots, I just today realized that the robot in the factory I work and the robots in the new KR are from the same manufacturer, Fanuc :) The robot in our factory is feeding a Homag CNC machine.
Also, coincidently I've used this week apparently similar material handling device the Knight-ind makes but I'm not sure who's the manufacturer is of the one I've used. It's hanging from the roof & grabs with vacuum cups the lifted object and can even turn the objects upside down.
