KARR's self programming...

We know from the episodes we've already seen that one major difference between ki3t and the new KARR is KARR's ability to 'self program'

When Ki3t has been given new vehicles to transform into, they are referred to as programs so I'm wondering did KARR start off as a transforming mustang, like Kitt, then decide for himself to change to the more robotic looking beast?

I think the "self programing" thing came from KARR being able to over ride and go against his primary directives, including deciding that he no longer he had to no longer follow whatever protocols were put in place in his programming. Something similar to KARR in KITT vs KARR where KARR went against his own programming of self preservation, I know some say that was due to his being damaged but I think it was certainly more than that. It would be like if KITT decided to against his primary directive of the preservation of human life and purposefully killed someone.

I'm fairly certain the becoming a battle bot and the other configurations were part of being a military project and much less complex than what KI3T has been doing.

I thought about the self programming and KARR as KITT was upset at Mike and Sarah about the self-destruct program in Knight of the Living Dead.

I could see how easily he could turn MAD at such a prospect and turn on his creator like KARR.

Like his version of 4x4 mode is a menacing robot with truck wheels.
