ki3t number/license plate...

Post by pheonix_knight » Fri Dec 05, 2008 4:34 pm

I know many have asked about the lack of 'KNIGHT' as the number plate on the new car

However I have a question, Is there a significance to the "77KR117" plate which the new car sports (apart from the halloween ep)???

FYI, on set I saw all the kitt cars have that same plate number.

is that legal?? (to have multiple cars with same plates??)

Ive seen on this site close ups of ki2t in KOTP where they had to use a 'road legal' vehicle' in certain situations (specifically when MK gets pulled over after having fallen asleep at the wheel)...

I'm gonna hazzard a guess on 'stateside law' and suggest that the plates (77KR117) aren't for road use??

which brings back my question, whats the significance???

If you look closely, you will see no registration stickers on that plate. It may just be a cardboard replica. Can see the pic in the other topic...Episode 17 taping...something like that.

They are plastic fake copies of prop plates.
