MIKE, KITT AND BILLY HEAD TO VEGAS TO TAKE ON A MONEY LAUNDERING RING -- Mike (Justin Bruening) goes undercover in Vegas to bust a money laundering operation. Billy (Paul Campbell) joins Mike and KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer) on the mission, only to spark a romantic adventure of his own. Meanwhile, Dr. Graiman (Bruce Davison) locks horns with an old rival and former flame, who comes to assess how "green" the KITT Cave is.

There seem to be several extracurricular items in tonite's episode.

For one, because it's "Green Week" at NBC they had to have a sub plot regarding being energy efficient in the complex. Also, they are unveiling the 2010 Mustang tonite, as well.

It will be interesting to see how they weave these elements into the plot.

I'm not a fan of NBCU/GE's Green Week, not sure what they'll do with the 2010 Mustang but I hope we don't get an hour long commercial, if they start hocking compact florescent, solar panels or any of the long list of items made by GE I'm changing the channel. Is the car going to be used in the show or an unveiling during commercial breaks?

Either way, I hope this weeks episode is better than last week's (they owe me $20) though I'm not sure about this main plot from what info we have, sounds a bit like an Ocean's Eleven rip off...

what's funny is I saw a commercial for 'NBC's crime Wednesday', or something to that effect. No mention of Knight Rider in this advertisement; only Life & Law & Order.....If NBC is on such a big publicity kick to get this show watched and increase the ratings, why not add it to this commercial?

I think I saw the same commercial too, yeah odd there was no mention of KR but I think that NBC is starting to just go a bit quiet and let the show drop off the radar a bit until they start back up in January with the new and hopefully improved format...

Thinking the same. Seems like a logical approach for the "reboot" ahead.

My only complaint on this episode is NBC's environmental plugging. The dialogue between Charles and his love interest just comes off as beyond forced in. Otherwise, can't say I mind the episode.

Tell me about it... What's next Charles going to start buying carbon credits? >_<

One would think he would consider the situation at hand and the possibility that she maybe in on the whole need-to-get K.I.T.T.'s data. I mean he's pretty much giving her the full tour except minus K.I.T.T.

Probably aired Out of Order??? I liked it, Billy was funny, and we finally got to see KITT crash through a wall. Only thing is: KITT transforms into way too may vehicles. Why don't they just leave it Hero Car, Attack, and maybe the truck......I am assuming he Ford Flex is (get it? green )

OH YEAH; ALSO....they said KR won't be on again till after the Holidays.........

I think that Dr. Graimans love interest is the connection that writes him off the show, he will go with her on her endeavours and move on with his life...

"After the holidays"?!?! Like...after Christmas? What is this?


Another decent episode, still no car chase, still no stunts. And for the second week in a row, it's a good plot that is almost completely crowded out but these stupid relationships. And seriously, I like boobs as much as the next guy, but I can find them anywhere, tone it down, and do a damn car chase!!


As for the positives, I like that we finally saw KITT crash through a wall, I liked the black ice. I liked a lot of the humor (between KITT and Michael at the beginning, Charles and KITT at the end, Billy encrypting the videos of him and the girl, etc.), I loved Billy saying "....attack mode," haha. (But again, did we see him DRIVING in a attack mode? No. Why the hell not?)

i didn't realize this was the season break...i thought they had a 13 episode run atleast before the season ended...there has only been 8...

So looks like we're waiting until Jan. until things kick back up once again.

Definitely not a favorite episode to end on before Christmas, but at least KARR is on down the road.

This was MUCH better than the last episode. A cool "Ocean's 11-lite" type story and some cool KITT action! We finally get KITT slamming through a wall!!!

They should've ended with a cliffhanger for the episode before the holiday break.

Man I went into this episode with no help from KR Online as to what was going to happen and missed the 2010 intro. I'm kinda PO'd as the Mustang is going into another body change just 1 year after the GT500KR is introduced? I wonder If the GT500KR will be KITTS body style until 2011. Making the cars like the trucks with different body's for F150's and Heavy Dooties . I thought the 2010 red mustang looked cheesy and like a coat they put on KITT. Me not even knowing it was a 2010 really wasn't impressed. Much less when was KITT ever going to be red? Oh wait the 4000 is puking back into my mind ugh now I've got to bury that movie...again!

Over all I was entertained by this episode but do wish they would have ran Knight of the Living dead tonight instead of leaving us with a Graiman boner. But now we all have to go through withdraw till Jan .

Man, I for one think the whole "Green Week' over-tones were a bit much. I'm all for keepin' it green and clean, but can a quasi-govermental project like Knight Indutries REALLY be scared of a 'eco-audit' (much less get shut down by it). None the less, 'Knight of the Zodiac' was an okay episode. The initial back & forth with Mike and KITT was amusing and the setup for the mission was kinda cool. Someone likes watching 'Ocena's 13' much?! The set-up for the heist took too long (how were they gonna stand up straight let alone rob a casino), but paid off well enough in the end. Anyone else think the Zodiac Gang will return? I sure hope they will!

And what was up with Billy going on the mission, then having nothing to do with it? I mean, sure Billy's lil Vegas adventure was a joy, but it made no logical sense. And by 'logical', I mean to the extent actual logic applied to the episode, i.e. if Mike called KITT everytime he needed a tech issue resolved, what was my man Billy gonna do? And I was totally disappointed when Billy called for 'Attak Mode' ..... then we cut to the warehouse?!?! He was robbed, I say!

Dr. Graiman's reunion with his old 'interest', Tess, was handled pretty well. The way Sarah was in total denial was amusing and how Charles kept getting that 'I'm a pimp' smirk on his face was priceless!! I did notice Tess kept pressing for KITT's specs and Charles picked up on that. Maybe Tess is looking for somethign beyond a carbon footprint??

And last of all, we see the secret crash-pad of he who was 'Mike Traceur', The MIke-Cave!! Graffiti mural (that says 'KITT Cave', I think), pool table, giant ass plasma TV, dude has all the candy! And the paraphrased line, "What happens in Vegas, stays in ...KITT!", was the perfect end to the episode. Indeed, well said, sir!

P.S. How long do you think you all will last until the KR withdrawl sets in? I give myself 2-3 weeks. I hate winter-breaks on TV!!

It's all rather frustrating, they should change the name of this show to Squandered Potential. Seriously, it really does have the makings of a good show. A cast of super smart, [for the most part] well acted, attractive characters, and an intelligent high-tech, super fast (alledgedly) car working against criminals which operate, to coin a phrase, above the law. And yet its wasted on this Disney-channel high school drama.

I don't have a problem with some relationship-style tension, and I don't mind the montages of scantily-clad women, the old show did it too. But the old show never let it interfere or overpower the arching plot of the episode. Like goldbug said, the Oceans 11-style plot sounded very cool, but we saw very little of it because we were apparently more interested in Charles' sex life. And need I repeat the insanity of a program featuring a car that never chases down other cars?!? Agh...it's infuriating.

So there won't be any more Knight Rider shows until January? That's like almost 6 weeks! :O I'm not a fan of tonight's episode either. I agree with cloudkitt - too much "junk" and I wish there was more KITT. I liked the crash through the wall thing though.

I dont think KITT will ever be the 2010 mustang. I think they just used that car to hide what KITT Is really about. Also the 2010 mustang was inroduce Tuesday at the LA Car Show so just another plug for ford to introduce the car.
