Both Michael and Sue (and countless others) are there at the show which just started a half hour ago.

Michael is going to try to send us updates via his phone - similar to what we did for the Attack KITT reveal. So this should be everyones first look at the cars and the guest scheduled to appear.

And if you are in LA - the event is just starting so there is still 4 hrs left to get there!

Just got back from the show - I had to duck out early for a dinner appointment.

Yes, there was quite a bit going on in the little town of Saugus today. When I arrived there were 5 cars but we had a 6th one show up. Glen Larson, composer Stu Phillips and customizer Michael Scheffe all showed up to chat and sign just about anything that was put in front of them. The Knight Rider GPS from Mio was on display and you could get a preview at the Knight Rider Companion book coming out soon.

Here was something interesting: one of the replicas belonged to a group from willitmakeit.com. They do videos for CMT where they basically do everything possible to destroy cars. They might put apple sauce in the gas tank or drive a car through an RV. Fortunately, they are NOT looking to smash their KITTs (they have two) but they do perform stunts with them. They seem like a great group and we'll be featuring them a lot over the next few months- you're going to like them.

Paul Casey was there to promote his Las Vegas Knight Fest in March. This event is going to be BIG. Some of you may be familiar with "The Fremont Experience" which is a video screen forming a canopy over Fremont Street that is 4-blocks long. They'll be featuring Knight Rider clips and videos from cast members and replica owners for a night. There will also be stunts right on the Vegas strip, possibly having KITT ski down the road. In addition to the many Knight 2000 replicas, the new Knight 3000 will also be there. The event will be free and open to the public.

Lots of video and photos to come, thanks to our investigative reporter Sue. But we'll give her some time to rest first.

Now I really,really,really wish I could go... That car show must be full of win...

Sleep? nah, I have videos to edit. Looks like Mike summed it up rather well for us, only he left out that Ron Martinez was also there, he was the producer of several episodes of Knight Rider. He was nice enough to bring along a rather fancy jacket that had been given out to members of the crew back when the show was in production. It’s special feature? It lit up with small led lights!

Oops! Sue's right, I forgot Ron Martinez. Ron was pretty funny with lots of stories to tell. He said things like "My favorite day on the set was Thursday because that was when we got paid."

And a correction - in the photo above, that's Stu Phillips with Larson above. Together they created the Knight Rider them music. Don Peake has been a regular at these shows in Saugus, the Knight Nationals in Ohio and even Knight Con Germany, but he could not make it yesterday.
