- Hey Stu I want to thank you again for coming to Saugus and making our gathering something truly special. It wouldn't have been the same without you there and on behalf of Knights of the West Coast and myself, thank you so much for taking the time to drive out there and also for signing some pics for us.rerunkr2 wrote:Hey KR West guys,

- Video looks great Sue, you even caught me and Michael talking the background at 2:28. I've always admired your photography and thanks for covering the event so well. I know I haven't got up since about 3:00pm today, after all the events and the dinner and drive home, I was just dead exhausted so I'm just getting around to checking things out.neps wrote:Great coverage guys!
Sue put together some video - here is the first part!
http://vimeo.com/1683913
I told people I would get Glen A. Larson, Michael Scheffe, and Stu Phillips to the show and I made good on that promise. Despite everything that could have gone wrong, in the end everything turned out right and I believe everyone pretty much received what they came for whether it was covering the event, meeting the celebs, getting photos, or just admiring the cars themselves.
I believe as small as an event this was, it made some waves in our fandom to give fans the opportunity to get just a little bit closer to the reality of Knight Rider and the people who made it possible.
Star Wars may be forever, but for us The Knight Rides On.

Who is that I wonder?
What is on that piece of paper?
Looks suspiciously like a tire print!

Our faithful Sue (who finally went to take a nap after being up still from last night - and I told her hourly to goto sleep!) has this video to share:

Re: Live from Knight Rider Car Show at Saugus Speedway
Man it seems I'm never around when I need to be in these things. Still it was great for Glen to do the video for the site and I bet you can guess who he is referring to when he says, "A young graphic designer that's working on that.".
I have a good idea what he has in mind when he says he'll be giving KRO a "sneak peek" of something. I'm also glad he gave the fans some more incite into the motion picture progress as well.
Stu is always a crack up, he's so up front and passionate about how he feels about things. Such a great person to know and I'm very pleased to not only be one of his admirers but also his friends.
Excellent work as usual Sue.

Yawn - oh look my last video has just come out of the oven. Crayons anyone?

I can’t let anything slip by you guys can I.
I want to make sure that I send a thank you out to Glen A. Larson, Michael Scheffe, Stu Phillips and Ron Martinez. We all appreciate the time you took to talk with us. I hope you all know how much your appearances at events like these means to us fans.
And of course it was good to see Nick and everyone from Knights of the West Coast as well as Paul Casey with the Knight Rider Festaval, and Glen Wacker with willitmakeit.com!
And lastly it was good to meet the various KRO members who stopped by to say hello over the course of the evening such as ILMODC, Goldwings, Jaimetheking and several others whose screen names now escape me. I know I didn’t get to spend as much time as I would have liked with any of you.

Wonderful work as always Sue. Had fun talking with some of you guys at the show.
Sorry I had to be in and out of there...I had to deal with my mother in law's car, my friend that had a 64 chevy impala, and another friend that had a Camaro also in the show.
Had tons of fun! Wonderful KITT cars!

Sue, a great gal as always! Ron's genuine excitement is priceless!
Re: Live from Knight Rider Car Show at Saugus Speedway
Great time everybody. This was my second year attending. I was at the 1st one but missed last years. I cannot remember all the names but it was great meeting everyone. Nick, Sue and Micheal. Again, sorry about forgetting some names because I know there was more.
I promise to make an entry next year with my 1987 Trans Am. I have Marks Custom KIts nose and light. Lets just say she's not quite show quality yet. LOL.
Here's a quick vid of the cars at night.

It was great seeing the cars at night with the scanners on. Something I missed the 1st year.
Looking forward to next time already!

- You know I was a little down that I didn't get in any video shots with Glen (after all I brought him there along with Michael) but then I distinctly remember being there when Glen signed your sketchpad sheet and there I am off in the upper right hand corner watching him do it! That really made my night to see that and how you acquired the other signatures as well. Yet again you manage to impress me with your vast array of coverage so again I thank you for that and the photos you sent me.Sue wrote:Yawn - oh look my last video has just come out of the oven. Seeing the smile on your face made all the frustration and exhaustive conditions well worth the effort. It's very rewarding for me to know that by getting them to the show, they allowed some lucky fans to add special keepsakes to their collection be it photos or autographs. Really brought the fandom closer to the people who made the show possible.
