I watched the new movie again. (ok this is like the 6th time, thank you netflicks!)
And I noticed when KITT was shut down, Mike was ramming into the suv and there was no damage. When he was being shot at sure the glass broke but it also showed no damage.
Maybe I am missing something but is the new KITT made out of the similar MBS, with Nano Tech for insta repairs?

You didn't look close enough. When KITT rams the SUV, his driver's side headlight is smashed, and there's visible damage to the fender. It's not visible in all of the shots, probably just because of the way it was edited.
