I call this thread Cont'd because I can't find the thread anymore.Maybe it was deleted.

Here is the final version of the car.I worked on 3 different ones and finally went back to the original I made at least for the rear of the car.

Looking good dude. I've only just started pen sketching the new KITT. Drawn whilst bored (in a meeting) and with no reference picture. Its only a tiny pen sketch as big as an ipod Nano so gives you a clue at the size of the pic.....

....I MAY turn this into a large painting sometime in the future but want to get some of the proportions spot on before I get started on that.

Wow looks pretty good.Your right about the proportions.I brought referrence pics form home while I was drawing this car.I was really fighting over the rear wheel angle of the car to make it perfect as well as the rear of the back hatch area/side.It came out looking more like a porsche than a mustang.Hardest part I worked on was the front grill.

Would have thought the front end would have been easy on the Mustang compared to the Trans AM. Its more angular and with numerous internal shapes which makes constructing the front end that little bit easier. The Trans AM front end is sloped and few fewer internal objects. I think its just that your use to drawing the original KITT.

Random artist skill: Draw random everyday objects (phones, stereos etc). This helps you when you then start drawing new objects....well it helps me.
