I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think he said something on the Today Show that he's always been a big fan of the show.

I thought Justin did a great job. Not making an excuse but it's more of the producers fault that he had a script he couldn't improvise or get changes to due to the strike. Justin is very enthusiastic about doing this and gives his heart and soul to doing Knight Rider and you post a negative thread about somebody like this."Shame on You"

I thought Justin did a good job with the material. He was likable and was believable while kicking ass. I do think that the character has a long way to go before proving himself worthy of his daddy's footsteps... but that's for another topic.

He could have picture of KITT tatooed to his butt for all I care. It doesn't take away the fact that at times he looks like deer in headlights. Regardless, they need to do something the character so can I believe that he's the hero type.

But this is just my opinion. It seems that everyone else likes him so that's what matters.

I think he should if he hasn't yet. That's a cool little bit of info!

I liked Justin Bruening. I think he has the looks and build to be the successor of Michael Knight, and the last scene with him and Michael seemed so fitting. I also enjoyed the fact that he's a big fan of KR, so he would definitely do his best in order not to crash the show. When the stars don't care about the show anymore, that's the early signs of a show's downfall.

I didn't know who he was, Justin that is. I don't watch soaps. So, the first time that I saw him was when he was promoting KR. He seems likable and he has said that he was a huge KR fan when he was growing up. So, maybe that will be a plus. I didn't really have a problem with his acting. He did about as good as he could do in his role.

I enjoyed Justin's performance overall, however I do admit that his performance was uneven. However, I expect that in pilot episodes. An actor is still settling into the role at that point. Justin shined in three main scenes that convinced me he could handle the lead:

1) When he fights in the casino. He had a brash, self-confident look when he says "Think so, huh?" and dives into the fight with gusto. It also showed (along with the garage scene) that he could handle the physicality as well.

2) His gas station conversation with KITT. It showed he could handle the more humorous aspects of the car/driver interaction.

3) The look of anger on his face as he stands over Jenny. It shows he could play serious and sad if need be.

I look forward to a potential series and would love to see him grow into the role more. I also like Justin's positive attitude towards the role and the fact that he is a bit of a fan of the original himself.
