Screen Captures
Here are some screen captures from the best parts of the movie. Sorry for the poor quality...VHS
A shot of the old KITT partcially covered. Notice the radio antenna...when did KITT ever have one of those?
Another shot of the old KITT with the engine showing.
A shot of KITT's bumper and what looks like his scanning bar hanging on the wall.
A close up of KITT's liscense plate on the bumper.
This appears to be the old KITT's scanner on the car, but I'm not sure.
A shot of the entire garage. I'm not sure if the car uncovered is the old KITT or the new one. The wheels and shape look like the old one. I even think I see RC3's motorcycle in the background..lol.
There is no doubt as to what this is.

Thanks for the screen shots! Some pics are better than no pics and I think you hit the most important ones of all. It kills me to see him in pieces though.

Re: Screen Captures
I think if the show does become a series hopefully most of our questions about what happend to the original KITT will be answered. One wierd question? Does anyone have a copy of this on DVD? If so please let me know. The new Knight Rider that is..

In this pic I see the K2000 at the bottom, the K3000 at the top and an unknown vehicle in the middle. So if the K2000 is intact, what is the car with the missing hood and TPI motor?

Re: Screen Captures
Thats a good question... 25 years has passed though so who knows these could be other KITT's. Like Jennifer asked... "Is it ANOTHER Trans Am?"

One of them may be KARR, trying to reprogram him or scrap him. Who knows...msKEN wrote:Thats a good question... 25 years has passed though so who knows these could be other KITT's. Like Jennifer asked... "Is it ANOTHER Trans Am?"

Re: Screen Captures
What I thought was funny in that scene was seeing the TPI plenum and runners in the original KITT's engine bay, which shows the engine is a later model chevy small block. Looks exactly like the one in my '91 TA without the cold air intake attached.
Just my 2 cents.

Re: Screen Captures
I think the point of having the familiar parts in the garage was to show that the original KITT was there, disassembled. Disappointing, but I think we can take the scene at face value.

Re: Screen Captures
Heeey! That says 1983 not 1982 as it was stated in the birthday topic! Dammit! I guess I should have looked into my self. That means he was apparently conceived in around October 1982 so he wouldn't have been Michael Knight for long.
EDIT: Looks like that wasn't in the birthday topic, it must have been either somewhere else or I just read the initial post wrong, I feel dumb, especially when I wrote a "theory" on how it could have came about. >_>

The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Re: Screen Captures
I think thats actually the turning signal from the new KITT. He sees that part of the car and then flashes to the rest of it.
Re: Screen Captures
I was joking when I wrote that...hence the "lol". I'm sure the producers of this movie have no idea who RC3 was.
