Ok this is getting tiring and almost futile. The 550 hp being sputtering around in ads is to attract car enthusiasts to the show it has no real bearing except to help out when doing burn outs and peel outs in the show. It doesn't make a difference what handling package it has or what not. It is a show and in the show it is a product of the Knight foundation(Charles G) It is not a ford in the movie but a shell to look like a Mustang that is enhanced by technology such as nano skin. Kitt will have superior handling,braking,acceleration etc.etc. because it will have Foundation technology in it not Ford components(in real life it does but not in the tv movie) Kitt in the movie will be superior to all the other cars because of the technology put into it by Charles including a state of the art handling package computer controlled. It will be able to take turns at a higher rate of speed than any other car because of this. The bottom line this is Hollywood and in it Kitt is superior to all other cars so no miata or corvette or charger will be able to out perform it on the big screen.
