building custom kitt

Hello all,
As some of you might know Im a die-cast collector.Whats on my mind is I want to try to custom build kitt from the knight rider 2000 movie as the 1957 chevy bel-air .My only problem is i want a real scanning light in the front (it wouldnt be kitt) if the light didnt work.Dose any one know where i could get some 1-18th scale scanning lights??I have thought about buying another kitt to get the light,but they are getting hard to find.Plus i would have a hard time destorying a great looking car just for a light!PLEASE HELP!!!
