New Knight Rider commercial: valet

A friend of mine saw this commercial during "Poker After Dark". He described it to me, so I'm now I'm relating it second hand.

A Mustang pulls up in front of a restaurant, the driver gets out. A valet walks up to him and asks "Can I park that for you sir?" The driver replies "No thanks, he'll take care of it himself". At which point the car drives off and they show the "Knight Rider: February 17" tag.

See even though I'll always be greatful to Mr Larson for creating KR I'm kinda glad its being done now by nbc,
In my heart I kinda want more of a continuation rather than another remake, Ie new faces, etc I dont in any way want to so sound disrespectable to Victor Kross, or Mr Larson, its just how I feel..

It is a continuation. Everything from the old series still happened. Michael Knight is still around as is the original KITT, the new guys are just that, new guys.

Well at least we can honestly say that NBC is promoting the hell out of this. That's a good thing. The car is actually growing on me.

Does anyone know if that was Will Arnett's voice? Or was it just the same one we heard in the two minute preview. If that's going to be KITT's voice, while i'll admit it's not overly bad but it's not overly good either. Sounds more like KARR than KITT. But then again, maybe I've just been spoiled by WIlliam Daniels' voice for the last how many years.

I will admit When I first heard the new Kitt was a Mustang I was agianst it.

But I Know what you mean "Devonstyles" the more I see the car I am getting really excited about it.
I can't wait for this I just hope I see this pilot before I go reading people's view's about it.

It's been 22 years since a decent attempt at Knight Rider,the other's don't count in my view.

It's Arnett's voice and they did the uhh "post alteration work" on it like they should. I don't really hear KARR in it either, it's not nearly sinister enough. Plus I prefer the more uhh "metallic" or machinish tone they added to this and the first teaser as it just doesn't sound right with it sounding just like Will Arnett as if he was talking through a walkie talkie that's in the car.

That'd just brings back the disappointing memory of meeting "KITT" at Universal Studios Hollywood when I was little.

I really hope that little hint of the old "swoosh" sound at the end means they're going to keep it for the show. That would be awesome.
