Good Morning!
Yesterday evening I finished the Release Version 1.2 of my KITT-Talk Software.
KITT-Talk uses the Dragons Naturally Speaking Voice Recognition Control to let you talk with KITT. You can add own questions and link them to answerfiles, that contain at least one mediafile, that shall be played, if the question is recognized. You can add as many files as you want to each question, the program chooses one randomly.

With Release Version 1.2 it is possible, to also add Videoclips and link them to an answer. So if you think, Devon has to call, let him call :D

KITT-Talk now also accepts Voicecommands in the following languages:
German, English, Dutch, French, Italian and Spain.

KITT-Talk is a Fan-Project, that can be used for free.

To make it more easy for you to understand the capabilities of KITT-Talk, I also added an english version of the KITT-Talk-Page and a detailed english User Manual to my Webpage.

I hope you like my software!
Feel free to write your wishes and ideas to this post!

Regards, Chris

First, that intro! WOW!!! And kudos to you and Don Peake for the remix! Neat! :)

As for the software, sounds great! Though I don't (yet) have Dragon Naturally Speaking. :( But glad you are using that instead of MS Speech as I think it would be much better than MS stuff. I have Ultra Hal Assistant and it doesn't do well with MS Speech. :?

BTW, the voice, is that Cepstral's "William" by any chance? Sounded slightly familiar.

Hi!
Thanks for your compliments!
I'll extend the intro with some new animations and pictures -if I find anywhere some extra time :)

Which Voice do you mean? The one saying "Welcome to Project-KITT.de"?

Yeah, the one at the end. The one that sounds definitely computer-like. What voice is that?

Yes, that is a tts-engine, but I am not sure, which one it was....

I think, I did it with the AT&T-Natural Voices - Engine.... On AT&T's Homepage is a free online-generator, where you can create an wav-file of max. 30 Words.....

I am just working on the next Version of KITT-Talk.
Would it be interesting to be able to control an 8-channel-relay interface? so you can activate KITTs Scanner via Voice e.g.
??

That would be cool to say "Keep your scanners peeled!" and KITT activates his scanners! :)

Yesterday I completed the Relay-Interface and today morning I made it work with KITT-Talk.
Now you can activate 8 Channels with a Voicecommand you choose.

II'll post some Pics and maybe a video this evening...

ChrisFTB Any chance that the remix is available as a whole download?

The bass line is very punchy and a clearer version would sound absolutely fantastic on a sub woofer!

It would also make an excellent ring tone for my mobile phone

Hello!
Sorry, but I can not offer the Remix as mp3. It was specially remixed for my webpage and I don't want to take advantage of this honor...

KITT-Talk 1.4 is available right now- I created a new tool, "Question-Buddy". With it you can easily teach KITT-Talk new Commands, because Question-Buddy does all the work for you.

I hope, you like it and give me some feedback....
