I thought that was cool too. I've even seen a friend do a burnout with a Chevy Cheyanne pickup truck. It was pretty amazing because he really smoked it! LOL!
Burnouts are cool.
chris - I was talking about the show from the *storyline* standpoint. KR wasn't real to begin with. We all already KNOW that.
I was showing this as an example of something they could have shown in the story. Maybe they could have emulated it with a fog machine under the truck with someone in the truck revving the engine (instead of modifying it, etc.) but it's the EFFECT and the STORYLINE that was being considered here. Not whether or not the truck that the studio used was capable of such a thing. In Hollywood the can emulate anything.
Just seeing a truck do that would have been cool.

LOL
Hey! just think! if the KR semi could do that, Kitt would never need to back out down the ramp! Just release the handbrake and let momentum do the rest!

How about skimode with semi, if they can do it with a bus, perhaps they could do it with semi too? Well, maybe not with Knight semi after all because all the computers etc stuff would fall down & get wrecked inside the trailer
Few years ago I went to see a stuntshow and took pics, here's 2 about the skimode with a bus:

That was one hell of a burnout.
I was jsut watching Knights of the Fast Lane the other night and my friend and I were commenting on the burnout Michael does when racing Rooster the first time.
I'm not really a big burnout fan, but I like how he jsut eases into the one in that episode, very cool.

Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"
