I found an old 1982 NBC Promo Commercial on YouTube which was obviously created before the Pilot was filmed - all the shots are from the Pilot Presentation (which featured KITT's original, more stock-looking nose). I captured two shots that were not in the Pilot:

Looking at the scanner on the first image, it looks like KARR's scanner! Unless that was his signal light near the driver-side headlight? There's also a yellow light below that (faint).

The yellow you see is the parking/turnsignal light that is stock on the T/As. The barely visable light below that is an ultra thin version of the red scanner. Here's a better picture of that same car:

Cool! I think Josch was looking for a nice size pick of that car. I hope he sees this. :)

Yeah, the first pic, the scanner looks yellow as the color is so faded from low light I guess.

Personally, I'm glad they changed KITT's nose soon after. I am not sure I like that particular nose. I think Pontiac's original nose on the T/As were better than that pic. And I think KITT's later noses were better than what Pontiac had there for awhile, until they started doing something similar in their later-model T/As.

Thanks for these pics, Joe... Tonight I plan to watch some KR, in fact. :)

Nice Pic and ihave some from that Car. But i have a Replica in Collection, dont forget it :lol: I need no Pic :wink: But some Pics are very Rare like that from Joe and i think its good to have :wink: More More More :lol:

I forgot about your model. :) That is cool. I agree these are rare pictures. Sorta like looking at KITT's Baby Pictures. :lol:
