Hey guys..
i'm usually just reading the boards.
but oh man i got pretty surprised when i heard the annoucement that kitt was going to be a mustang..wtf??
i'm not saying the mustang is a bad car, i like the car a lot, but i just don't see it as kitt.
kitt, (i believe a majority of you will agree) is supposed to be a sleek sexy vehicle not a muscle/agressive looking car.

i've heard many car names being tossed around.
the camaro being one of the most popular ones.
this car although sexy doesn't have the sleek front.
the trans am was a sleek car back in the days and i believe it's current counter part would be the corvette.
you can even picture how the scanner would fit between the head lights with this car.
so here is a quick photoshop of a black c6...hope you all agree this would have been a better choice if they had to pick a car that's in production.

Wow, great Photoshop!! I agree with you 100%!! KITT is supposed to be the car of the future in a sleek sexy body --> today the Corvette would be great!

I'am sure Glen and the Wienstiens will make a better choice for their kitt. But I do like the look of that Corvette. And just for the record the transam was the poor mans corvette.

I would definitely pick the Vette out of all the current American 2 door cars.


I also like the pic of the photoshopped Camaro made to look like the 5th gen T/A all "Kitted" out

i still can't believe ,mustang? wtf???

i haven't seen the pic of the photoshopped camaro that is kitted out to look like a trans am, but i hope they didn't put the scanner in the location where the mustang scanner is...

as someone mentioned before,
the car of tommorrow shouldn't look like the car from yesterday
but i would much prefer this over the mustang...

It's better than what NBC came up with.

Although I am intrigued to see what Mr.Larson and the Weinsteins will present to us.

At least that vette has some T-tops.... the freakin mustang doesn't!

The corvette looks awesome as kitt, but is it 4 seat?

With a Chevy Cobalt or a Pontiac G5 you've got 4 sets, 2 doors, more kitt like front than a shelby mustang, and Made in USA (though the mustang is also made in usa).
