Hey,

Wanted to get everyones opinion. I've started to see that with the two projects going forward, that people are starting to get confused on what is for the TV project, and what is for the Film project.

I've always wanted for the KRO forum to have one main area for general discussion (as to not dilute the active pool of topics) - but it is becoming increasingly evident that the TV project and the Film project might need their seperate forums - and I was wondering what everyone thought?

I might not be opposed to it if I could link on the General Discussion a link at the top that showed the latest topic in the respective forums - so that you could still hit just the general discussion page - it would just just be organized neater.

It would most probably make things easier for sure. Its confusing enough having two separate projects. Was thinking of doing the same thing myself lol.

It wouldn't bother me but keep in mind you would need to make a note not to post tv series vs movie inquiries in the threads and that's going to be sort of difficult to do.

"vs" in this case is not competitive but more comparing the differences between the two projects.

Yes it would be a great thing to have two / three different threads about series, movie and eventually comparision of the two!

I'm in support for creating different threads to separate the telepic from the motion picture. Another idea is to possibly create a spoiler thread. Although I have been following the news of the backdoor pilot thus far, I'm not sure I want to know every single leaked detail. I'd really much rather have a lot of the movie be a surprise.

I myself am working on a seqel to a KR story I wrote...tho this one has few of the KR Cast in it...I did bring backWilton,KARR-(sorta )

But I stayed true to the whole KR mythos & brought in a few "guests" for cameos from other past series, a movie ot two- in reference only....When I do finish it....I'll fig. on posting it here...along with my original work - with a big tip of the hat to: Glenn,the Hoff,Ms McPherson, Ed Mulhare-(rip ) & many others....

But I digress, a three-fer...? Hmmmm!

That sounds good! I guess you can do 2 sticky's maybe? One for the TV-Pilot the other for the Movie. Then maybe one for comparisons or if you want to you can create it out of general discussion and put it in a seperate one.

OK - I'm gonna try to work on this some more tomorrow. My inital thoughts is that encourage all discussions to take place in this general forum by default, but once an article reaches 5-7 days old - that it gets moved into the respective forum. Perhaps this is a policy to have going forward for all articles?

I do like the idea of all discussions starting out in a single forum.

When it comes time to figure out which forum to move topic to, let's just not become victims of our own organizational rules however. When it comes time to decide if a topic belongs in the "NBC" or "Feature Film" forum, it may just be a gut reaction.

It shows the three sections as well as all active topics in the respective ones. This way people can post in the correct forum as needed - but keep up to date on all three in one location.

Tried to read the NBC and the feature film forums but it gave the following message even when logged in:
You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum.

Only the General Discussion opens, I don't know if it's just me
