NBC screened a 2-hour pilot movie of the week called "Knight Rider." A quarter-century later, here we are, continuing to celebrate this fantastic series.

It's surreal to me that it's been that long, but tonight -- after I've updated the Archive -- I will sit down and rewatch the movie.

Happy Birthday, Knight Rider!

It's a bit hard for me to believe that it's now been 25 years since "Knight Rider" first began airing on TV, and my brother had gotten me to watch the show with him, even if I didn't quite want to at first.
Anyway, I began to watch the show seriously after realizing that D. Hasselhoff was the same guy with the made-up last name(to me at least) who I'd seen on the same "Love Boat" episode that the Pointer Sisters were on, so I still have to remind myself that Hasselhoff is indeed a real last name and not something someone made up.
I also seriously began to really love the show, too---and was exited that "Knight Rider" was going to get another season!
I was really upset when "Knight Rider" was cancelled in 1986, and I'm glad the show was recently released on DVD, so I can enjoy the episodes in their entirety.
"Knight Rider" was the first show in which I really got to like D. Hasselhoff, and Happy 25th anniversary, "Knight Rider"! :) 8)

I gre up alongside the development of Knight Rider.I was born April 10.1982.Knight Rider aired in September of that same year.I used to watch it on reruns up until the age of 13 on channel 9.Then they took it off network tv even re runs.I had friends tape so many episodes when it was on cable. Now its on TV land at 10AM here.Wouldn't be the same without the nostalgix static on tv but having commercials between scenes is good enough.I love having the series on dvd.

I was 12 when "Knight Rider" was first on TV in 1982(I was born in 1970), and the show was great, especially after I began to watch the show regularly(in late 1982/early 1983)!
It still is, especially now that I've got all 4 seasons on DVD! Woo! :karr: :kittconv: :D :kittconv2: :kitt2: 8) :kittx: :spmgo: :kittside:
I'm still a fan of D. Hasselhoff, too. Sweet!

I think I'm youngest Knight Rider fan in this forum. In my profile you could see "Age: 26", but that's not the true age. I live in Lithuania (a country in northern Europe. Situated along the south-eastern shore of the Baltic Sea), the Knight Rider there was shown in approximately 1997-2000, I'm born in 1990, so when the show started, I was only 7, now i'm 17, so i'm fan of Knight Rider for 10 years! :D I remember that every day i was drawing and drawing KITT, especialy i liked to draw KITT's dashboard. When i was ill, i have gotten 41 degree of Celsius temperature, I was delirious with fever about Knight Rider, i don't remember that, my parents told me :D Happy Birthday Knight Rider!

I was 12 when the show first came on 25 years ago and was instantly hooked after seeing the pilot. My family and a couple of cousins watched the pilot a few times from our Beta VCR that we had for less than 2 years. I will always remember Michael Knight's first encounter with KITT fondly. You can call me crazy, but to me that was probably the biggest moment in fictional TV history! 8) I love Michael's Darth Vader bathroom comment after he sits in that awesome black Trans Am!

Happy 25th Anniversary, Knight Rider!!! :D

IT's awsome that we as fans of the series are still strong and the show has remained popular after 25 years. From the car to the well known theme, The world of the KNIGHT RIDER is alive and strong! 8)
