VH1's year-end retrospective "Best Year Ever" had a segment on the Hoff:

That's a screwy segment, but at least those who spoke about "the Hoff", as it were, had pretty good taste anyway.
I think DH had a pretty bittersweet year, and a good comeback, despite a public divorce.
That "Hoff" nickname is, in my opinion, one of the better ones in showbiz right now.

I saw that clip the other day....Hasselhoff ended up losing the "Best Year Ever" Award to, I believe, Kevin Federline. What's up with that???

The "winner" of the Best Year Ever was "Junk". As in Screech's Junk. As in the Save By The Bell star's bizarre sex video.

Just shows how irreverent the "Best Week Ever" series is.

I saw that special myself, and Kevin Federline's not as talented as D. Hasselhoff; he's more like a creepy instant celebrity capitalizing on his 'marriage'/divorce to Britney Spears.
I also said, "What's up with that?" after seeing Mr. Federline getting that award, and that alone didn't make me want to see that special again.
At least DH got the Big Comeback award at the Big in 2006 show, though.....
