when you compare the strength of this toyota hilux to kitt, kitt, i dunno seems kinda weak :p

If you own the season 1 dvd I think in the episode final verdict you see kitt push aside a garbage truck.In forget me no you see kitt push forward 2 or 3 cars ahead of him to get out a parking attendant revenge for Michael not tipping.Kitt was also boxed in episode tittled a good day at white rock and he caused some motion for a couple making out in a station wagon.

lol to be honest it was meant as a joke, a lighthearted comment, but kitt never got washed away in the sea, set on fire, dropped off a building, hit with a recking ball and had a caravan dropped on him, all without being rebuilt and still be drivable. in that vid they had basic tools and some spray oil, kitt had a semi full of tools gadgets and gizmos. but as i say it was meant in a light hearted fashion, i wasnt expecting any one to take this as seriously as you appeared to have done knight racer. id like to say i agree with you kitt is strong, though if i recall he is ok pushing cars but cant tow them :p i cant remember the name of the episode but its the one in the first series where the military are selling nuclear weapons painted as armour piercing :p

Kitt wasn't set on fire but he was bruned up alot.He had pyro plastic lamination in ring of fire.He was on fire in deadly maneuvers and lets not forget the circus where he was set on fire by the cute clown car.He was hit with a recking ball I think in knightlines and knocked through 2 cement walls,Then again this was a tv show where kitt had a molecular bonded shell and these cars were not fitted with a car crew with special lock up breaks and other features that would set kitt aside from a factory production like 82 firebird.

This isn't taken serious just participating in a great is kitt better then a (fill car that would be beaten by kitt here all the time) conversation.

i agree but between all these incidents kitt was taken back to base and rebuilt with new parts, if you watch the vid they show you them trying to destroy it
