Post by Julius May » Tue Sep 26, 2006 2:55 pm

I would like to know are there problems with the Season 4 KR DVD set in the US, if so what are the problems you noticed?

If my memory serves, the only problem I saw was 2 or 3 sound effects in "Knight of the Juggernaut" and no teasers for "Scent of Roses" and "Killer KITT".

Some sound effects are missing from Knight of the Juggernaut.

Your missing the Killer KITT teaser? I didn't have that problem and I bought the R1 DVD's. Did anyone else miss out on the Killer KITT teaser?

Nope. For the first time the R2 release actually had the teasers.

It's the "Knight Song" and "Scent of Roses" teasers missing from the R1 Season 4 discs.
It's time to bring back "Knight Rider"

Hello Julius.

Only 'Knight Song' and 'The Scent of Roses' teasers are missing from the R1 Boxset.

In Region 2 sets (which have been released in the UK 10 days ago) ALL the teasers are included.

This topic was discussed in the forum few days ago. I had a very interesting and useful chat with Paul Nuthall (the creator of Knight Rider Archive).

This is the link in which you can find all the posts:

There are also a few missing sound effects from the episode: 'Knight of the Juggernaut' in both Region 1 and 2 Boxsets.
There is a short review about it in the following link:

I only have problems when using it on my laptop, not with my DVD player, but I'm bypassing my episode access screens via the play all and then chapter menus...

SEASON FOUR ROCKS! I had never seen any of these episodes before, ever, and I love it. The writing is so much better and the whole look and feel of KR is much, much better. It feels more slick and urban and stylish. You got glass buildings, big conglomerates, gloss and glass man... Sighs.

That said apart from the season opener there's just not enough Devon around. And I'm depressed it was the last series. I can't watch the successor KR2000 because I get to the part Devon dies and I have to switch off and spend the next few hours blubbing my head off! I'm serious! I cry like an ickle baby!
