Of course they are! Thats good... Maybe KARR will come next.... This HITARI will be my third KITT R/C.... My first is the one that I had when I was 10 yrs old... Can't remember the brand though, but it was an official merchandise... Lost that one :( My 2nd is the KITT Aoshima mini-Z which is right now on display in front of the TV set.....

And now coming soon is the HITARI KITT... Aargh!!! I can't wait to get my hands on it!!!! Thats why I want it delivered to me by express :P

Can the car use rechargeable batteries?

Yes it can use rechargeables (i am using them now), but it comes with 4 non-rechargeable ones so you can use those first.

yeah all batteries are included. You have to install one yourself that comes in the box, i think its so the other batteries don't run down with try-me's.

About time  saying that Hitari did say it would take upto 2 weeks from the end of Sept to get them into stores. They should also start popping up in Comet stores nationwide.

£33 just seems odd to me. I'm not entirely sure how much of that is Next taking their own cut of the profits. I'll let you know as soon as see the car at either Comet or Next.

Got it!

Post by corlando52 » Sun Oct 08, 2006 5:36 pm

James,
I got it and it's Sooooooo cool! Thanks for making it available to me. I didn't get the blooper DVD though.
No big deal. This car is awesome! I played with it for a while today and am waiting for it to get dark here so I can see the lights. Some really great features. I have some critiques, but, please remember. I REALLY love this!!! OK, here goes...

I wish it were bigger...like 1/8th scale!!! How totally awesome would that be?
I wish it went faster...Not much difference in the Turbo boost and regular speed.
I wish I could buy 10 of these and race them!!!

The good stuff...
It's an R/C KITT!!!!
It talks and has the scanner sound and they are controllable from the remote
It has the scanner and fog lights (which I intend to change from yellow to white)
It's bigger than any other R/C KITT so far
It has turbo boost
It just looks so cool zipping down the street

Thanks again for this great toy!!!!

Chris

Great to hear you like it. I will be listing some more after today's ones sell so I think the next ones may be the last to sell depending on how many people are interested.

I don't know what happened with the blooper dvd I guess Dad must have forgot to pack it. I can send you one if you would like but if you don't care about it thats probably easier lol.

If the car was 1:8 scale it would be huge and probably wouldn't go very fast. The Turbo boost seams to work well for me it gets the speed up a fair bit which is great. Depends on what terrian you are using I guess. Its more of an indoor toy.

Don't worry//

Post by corlando52 » Sun Oct 08, 2006 6:53 pm

James,
Don't worry about the bloopers. I actually have a copy of the VHS, and made a DVD from that. I was hoping you might have more on your DVD, but it's not worth paying the postage all the way from Australia. Just remember me if you find anything else to sell from KR.
